25.01.2022 This time next week, we will be down at Cameron Park from 8am to 1pm. Our first markets since February, we have lots of stalls and we are now at the northern en...d of the park. Our friends at Binjang Community Radio will be broadcasting from the park live. Come on down and say hello to us, get some breakfast, and support our local vendors. We can hardly contain our excitement!! COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Keeping our community safe.

22.01.2022 On Saturday, Vivienne Wellington (past president), presented our donation of $3,500 to Pema Thubten from the Tharpa Choeling Wellington Buddhist Centre. This will certainly help with their renovations! Well deserved.

21.01.2022 Another note from our federal member the wonderful Andrew Gee MP - about two very special people in Wellington - a shout out and big thank you to Emily Falson a...nd Chris Hardy from us all xxx CALARE COMMUNITY CARE UPDATE It was lovely catching up over a cuppa with two community advocates who have played a big part in our Calare Community Care initiative in the Wellington area. Emily Falson, President of the Wellington Rotary Club and Chris Hardy, President of the Wellington Lions Club are two of the service club members who have been calling and checking in on Wellington residents to make sure they’re ok during the COVID-19 pandemic. The kindness and generosity of these ladies in giving up their time to check in on community members was very touching. Those on the end of the phone were very grateful and it gave them a real boost to know that someone was looking out for them during this tough time. Thank you Wellington Lions, Wellington Rotary and everyone who has given up their time to participate in this initiative. I gave Emily and Chris a bunch of flowers to say thanks on behalf of the community. It’s people like them who are making a real difference during this devastating pandemic. My office and I have contacted over 5,000 people across the region as part of Calare Community Care.

13.01.2022 Tomorrow's market has been cancelled. We are sorry, however, it is out of our control. The paths and grassed areas in the market area are boggy and very slipper...y. This poses a slip hazard to the public. We could not risk your safety. We are so disappointed, but we have an obligation to keep you as safe as possible and on this occasion, we know we couldn't. By the way, thank you so much to our friends at council for always looking out for us, and alerting us to this hazard. We have a celebration lined up for next month's markets, so keep watching this page for details. Thanks for your support and we'll see you all next month. July 24 The markets team.

05.01.2022 September 26 is our big reveal! We are back at the Northern end of Cameron Park and looking forward to a great day out! We ask that all stall holders bring the...ir COVID-19 Safety plans with them, and make sure you have hand sanitiser at your stall. Also, signs to let your customers know how to keep themselves safe at your stall will be expected. We will have a COVID-19 safety monitor at the markets, and we will be doing our best to keep our community virus free. Please do not attend the markets if you are unwell. Now, for the fun stuff...Get your bacon and egg burger from the Rotary barbecue. Grab a fabulous coffee, and support our local businesses. We've got quite a few stalls booked so far, so it's looks like we will have a fabulous Spring market. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces on the 26th. The markets team.

04.01.2022 We hosted the MHERVan last week, and the figures are in...Nurse Rob saw almost twice as many people compared to his 2019 visit. He saw a few more women come in as well. Thanks to all club members who spent time at the van, and thank you Rob for your constant source of music, humour, and professional care. Hopefully, the van will return next year.

02.01.2022 Last night we celebrated our official change over, and apart from a lovely night, with many guests, two members and one long time partner, were awarded the Paul Harris Fellow.
