22.01.2022 Our club recently completed a project upgrading the viewing room at Braeside Hospital. Led by our president, Brigette, and with volunteer help from out other members, the work was done in a day. The money from the project came from funds raised by members and with the help of a grant. 20.01.2022 The Annual Fairfield City Charity Golf Day presented by the Rotary Club of Wetherill Park was held in May and saw 78 golfers of all levels enjoy a day on the Fairfield course. Now in its 29th year, the event raises money for both the Rotary Club's projects and for the Autism Spectrum school Wetherill Park - a very worthy cause. A feature of the day is the all-day BBQ which is manned by volunteers and staff from the school to keep the golfers' strength up. Winners on the day w...ere Wayne Levi, Paul Levi, Luke Crockford and Peter Hughes with 52 3/8. Runners Up were Roger Richens, Surin Ghelani,Mark Krause and Malcolm Frame with 52 5/8. A close tussle. Prizes were also awarded for the usual Nearest The Pin, Longest Drive etc. This day could not have been possible without the help of our Gold Sponsors Tom Murphy Starr Real Estate, Hayloair Air Conditioning, 4G Metals, Essential Fabrication & Maintenance, Eagle Software, Hayes Metals, Cabramatta Golf Club, and Horsley Park Tavern. And a huge vote of thanks for the non-playing volunteers who gave up their day so that we could play golf! See more

05.01.2022 The Rotary Carols at Horsley Park has become the latest victim of Covid-19 and the organising committee, led by the Rotary Club of Wetherill Park reluctantly announces its cancellation for 2020. Committee Chairman Bill Robb said, We appreciate the strong community support for this event over 24 years of Rotary’s involvement and assure you that we will back with a successful carols in 2021. The 2020 carols would have been supporting Anowah Community Living, Braeside Hospit...al’s Aged Mental Health ward, Horsley Park Rural Fire Brigade, and our various Rotary programs Mr Robb continued, and we are in the process of putting together an online raffle to help us make up the loss in fundraising. Interested Carols supporters are invited to post some words of support and even photos of their Christmas celebrations on our Carols Facebook Page.
