Lucky locals... found golden tickets in their mailboxes (if the snails didn't get there first!) to redeem at a local business. 19.01.2022 The Rotary Friend's High Tea Quiz was a great success last weekend. Grateful thaks must go tot the Yacht Club of Port Fairy for.giving us the use of their venue. It was terrific.. Thank you especially to all who made donations towards our prizes and our raffle, Thank you so much to the Friends of Rotary who organised the day. A special thank you to Harry Bracegirdle, quiz master and his helpers, to Michael Crowe quiz master, the ladies who set up the Yacht Club and those who made the tasty food and of course those tireless workers tucked away in the kitchen. Finally to our Treasurer and our photographer. Thank you so much. Great photo of the winning team and one of the people who won a prize. Thanks to the team from Warnambool, a great effort and to all who supported us, some interesting answers
19.01.2022 #BehindTheScenes Time to brush those teeth! The daily routine for our students includes brushing their teeth after having their school breakf...ast. It’s an important part of their routine as they don’t get to do it at home. We believe learning these life skills is just as important as other learning that happens at the Bandari Project. When you sponsor a student, your funds go to purchasing school equipment and other necessities, like thisa tooth brush! You also become part of the Bandari family, you can follow your sponsor child's progress and see the difference that your donation makes. If you're interested in sponsoring a child or would like to find out more send us a message here or via [email protected]. See more

11.01.2022 Warrnambool Daybreak recently found a unique project to help them raise funds. When a local oval was being refurbished, the club saw an opportunity for the tu...rf to be offered for sale. The project was extremely successful, selling over 500m2 of turf and generating an income of just over $4,000. What an innovative way to raise funds during covid restrictions. See more
10.01.2022 Rotary started with the vision of one man Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diver...se backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world.

02.01.2022 It’s been another big but rewarding week in the Goldfields region. This week we started to provide these great packs as part of our safe bathroom audits and als...o within the environmental health clinical referral program. It’s really wonderful to be able to provide a personal towel (thanks Rotary), towel hook, soap, Sukin products and a hand and face washing sticker to householders at the same time as fixing minor plumbing issues. The AEHWs are so important to this work so we want to do a shout out to them! Also heartfelt thanks to the Goldfields PHU for donating these bags (we need more if anyone has spares lying around). A great week with great outcomes. See more
