20.01.2022 Rotary Foundation Month. November, which is Foundation month, is a great time to celebrate your accomplishments so far amid these difficult times. Here are few... strategies you may like to implement while celebrating this month: 1. Educate members about The Rotary Foundation and show them our impact by using an Area of Focus video during your club meeting. 2.Promote the Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) Presentation to encourage Annual Fund giving by each Rotarian. 3. Share stories about your Foundation-funded projects and assure donors that their money is spent wisely. 4. Recognize and thank new Major Donors, Bequest Society members, Paul Harris Society and Paul Harris Fellow members. 5. Thank Rotarians who gave to the Foundation for the first time ever. 6. Encourage Non-Contributing members and Non-Giving clubs to Give to The Rotary Foundation. 7. Promote Online Giving and encourage Rotarians to contribute online on Rotary.org by using Credit/Debit card or Net Banking option.

09.01.2022 Great progress on our Community Garden for Cornerstone. Endeavour Hills Men’s Shed finished installing the seating. Water tanks arriving this Sunday. Bunnings staff will install the garden shed next week and colour Bond sheeting will be installed on the roof of the shelter. Donated Compost soil from a Rotary Club Berwick member also to be delivered. Very exciting to see the Clubs Centennial project nearly finished. Thanks to all those involved.

Rotarian Howard who is also Vice President of Endeavour Hills Men’s Shed was on site to discuss the involvement of the Men’s Shed in building and installing seating for the shelter. A great community effort.
