21.01.2022 Come to the Rotary International Expo and learn about Lille Fro, a program located in northern India in the shadow of the Himalayas. Lille Fro provides scholarships for children from remote villages that are cut off for up to 8 months of the year to board at primary school, they build greenhouses so families can grow nutritious fresh food year round and they fund skills training for adults so they can support their families. Bring your friends to Row A at the Queen Victoria Market this Sunday to learn more!

16.01.2022 Hi Rotarians. Rug up and bring a non-Rotarian neighbour or friend to the Expo tomorrow. This is your chance to impress them with the amazing projects conducted by Rotary in needy communities offshore.

09.01.2022 Bright Future Community Centre runs after school activities, and is supporting local students with their education in Nepal. This photo shows Nepali kids heading to school. Yet another Rotary Club project you can learn about at the Rotary International Expo this Sunday!

05.01.2022 Two educated Tanzanian ladies from a rural background wanted a way to assist poor women in their region. Interviews were held with key community leaders, Rotary Clubs and local Government authorities. The Women’s Education and Training Centre of Excellence was then developed using volunteer labour from Australia. The aim of the Centre is to alleviate problems arising from chronic poverty. This will be achieved through a multifaceted approach of education, training, counselling, mentoring, discussion and rural development. Each course would run from 10 to 20 weeks and cover both theory and practice. We envisage up to 200 women attending the Centre in its first year.
