25.01.2022 Outback distance is simply the time between amazing features. This run is to Tunnell Creek.

24.01.2022 The Kimberley has it all. Back to Kununurra. On to Mabel Downs ready for the Bungle Bungles.

23.01.2022 We were all sad to leave Waterloo Station. Our relationship with the outstanding staff was growing significantly by the hour. Our respect and admiration for Col...in and Alison was summed up as INSPIRATIONAL. We are indebted to Sil and Derrian for the connection and Colin and Alison for a unique experience. See more

21.01.2022 An OMG experience. The most amazing rock formations. 350 million year old sandstone from an ancient river system. Uplifted, weathered by wind and rain. Just per...fect for the many inquisitive Nomads of the Kimberley. We even worked out the Cyanobacteria role in creating the horizontal bands. These bacteria have only been on our beautiful planet for 3.5 BILLION years. They make Oxygen if you are wondering. See more

19.01.2022 3 barges joined together and a tour guide at sunset. Geikie Gorge on the mighty Fitzroy river is simply gorgeous. It flows at up to 33 million litres per second and is still a wild river.

12.01.2022 Let's have look at half a million acres. Colin took us on a brief tour of the beautiful diverse grasslands. At one point Colin said see that distant hill. Well that's about half way to the back boundary. Everyone loved the property.

10.01.2022 This ancient 1000 km long great barrier reef presented another OMG walking experience at Windjana Gorge. Freshies, fossils, waterway, sand bars and escarpments had everyone thinking they were ace photographers. It was impossible to take a bad shot.

07.01.2022 Freedom Camp means 70 vans park every other which way at Mary Pool. Then on to Fitzroy Crossing.

03.01.2022 Cattle yards ain't cattle yards. 2 hours spent fascinated with the different types of yard layout, handling , care and attention cattle get as well as OH and S issues.

01.01.2022 After boundary riding our hosts put on yet another great station meal and shared the live cattle trade closure debarkle. How an industry can be closed down inst...antly beggers belief. Just to top off our stay a mobile shop arrived to the delight of our clothing and trinket starved travellers. See more

01.01.2022 Welcome to Tunnell Creek. Clambered in, waded through water using torch light and loved it.
