23.01.2022 This is where we do our community service project at Maitland Public school canteen. Yes we do lunches and recess food for the whole school and the teachers too. But then we can find time to make dinners for isolated seniors in our community. Not forgetting we take time to keep things, not just clean, but sparkling clean. We do this pretty well or so we are told.

21.01.2022 Our Rotary Club has been successfully running the canteen at Maitland Public School for about a year now. We are looking to employ canteen assistant/s to work on a casual basis. Please message our page or tag friends who might be interested. We will send you information about the position and how to apply. Applications will close 5pm Tuesday 26th May.
20.01.2022 The MHERVan saves lives. While many men have had their health check by Rob the MHERV nurse, some are OK, some need to see their doctor and others have needed immediate attention. Those needing immediate attention will be forever grateful, their families will be forever grateful, their dogs will be forever grateful.

14.01.2022 We were at the Black Dog Ride this morning serving breakfast of bacon and eggs. Lots and lots of bikes. Chewy gave us a message of looking out for our mates. Look up the map of where they rode and be surprised at what you see
10.01.2022 Rotary does lots of good things in your community. Every event our Rotary Club organises we donate the funds raised to a cause. As volunteers our time is limited so selecting a cause to support is considered carefully. Last year funds raised at the Bunker & Back mountain bike ride were donated to HMRI, Sports Concussion Clinic. This year our Rotary Ride & Run, Bunker & Back will again support HMRI Sports Concussion Clinic as well as the HMRI Jill Emberson Memorial Fund supporting vital research into ovarian cancer. Jill Emberson once said "Money funds research, research funds answers, and answers lead to better treatments" So all the monies raised at the Rotary Ride & Run, Bunker & Back will help provide funds for this HMRI research

04.01.2022 Bunker & Back Sunday 13th September 2020. This year Riders and Runners are welcome to climb the Tocal mountain. Short Rides and Runs will not include the mountain.
01.01.2022 Things have changed at the school canteen, with many mums working it is difficult to have enough parent volunteers to help in the canteen, so Rutherford Telarah Rotary Club decided to do something about it, Rotary leased the canteen, Rotary runs the canteen. We employed a canteen manager, that went well, really well so now we have employed a trainee in Hospitality. Things change and we have to meet that change.
