21.01.2022 So happy to share a good news story. Recently, honorary member Russell Duncan completed his own Walk for Love to ensure funds were raised for The Mary Potter Foundation this year. Our Club was pleased to once again sponsor his endeavours. The pic below shows the funds being proudly handed over. Well done Russell (and support crew) for your continued support of Mary Potter Hospice and your care and concern for others in our community demonstrated by your willingness to volunteer.

19.01.2022 Great conversation during last Tuesday evenings meeting, highlighting citizen advocacy. Wonderful volunteers looking out for others in our community. Members present voted to cease F2F meetings for the remainder of March and explore online meeting formats beginning in April. Given the recent escalation of health directives it was fortunate decisions were made and strategies put in place. Responsible citizenship. Take care everyone!

13.01.2022 Heres proof in the pudding that a "small group of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission" can make a huge difference! Last week, with Nazareth Outreach Work we took the opportunity to formally acknowledge and thank SA Power Networks for their generosity to help establish a Mobile Health Clinic in Timor-Leste under projects established by Fundao Lafaek Diak (The Good Crocodile Foundation) and Nazareth Catholic Community. Without their support many Timorese communities would not have any access to medical advice, assistance or treatment.

06.01.2022 Last night it was a pleasure to support a local school for their Building Connections-Community Night. Lockleys North Primary has certainly grown heaps since some of our members were involved as parents or local identities! Sausages with or without onions (served directly on the bread) are definitely off the menu today!

05.01.2022 Doing our bit during National Volunteers Week - Monday morning session at FoodBank. Thanks to Jenny, Russell, David, Jeff, Maurie and Cate. Some of us got our step count up big time, while others ably packed at the end of the production line. Impressive numbers again this time with 580 teen hygiene packs made up ... that’s a mere 4640 separate items ready for distribution to schools.

01.01.2022 Service above self. Wonderful community spirit given the current health restrictions. With no Walk for Love fundraiser for Mary Potter Foundation this year, our honorary member Russell Duncan was determined to still raise some funds. Recently, he walked the circuit in North Adelaide with a support crew including family and several Club members. Well done folks!
