20.01.2022 Meeting from a distance to make a positive change.

16.01.2022 For our latest community service project our club is collaborating with SIPs (SewInspiredPatchworkerS), a Murrumbeena based patchwork and sewing club, which has been operating for over 10 years. The first phase of this project is to provide a sustainable solution in the form of free fabric masks for needy communities, which we have identified. We would like to thank the lovely volunteers at SewInspiredPatchworkerS for helping us in this time of need. If you would like to collaborate with us, know of a local community which needs our help or have an idea for a service project send us a message.

15.01.2022 Yesterday we donated 80 fabric masks to Asylum Seekers Centre. The Asylum Seekers Centre offers material aid and relief for families seeking asylum in the Cities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Clayton suburb in the city of Monash for over 20 years. The Asylum Seekers Centre will, from this point, provide each visiting asylum seeker the fabric face masks, which we donated. This is a project, which we completed while strictly adhering to social distancing and lockdown rules b...y the use of emails, zoom and Australian Post. The fabric masks were stitched by SIPs (SewInspiredPatchworkerS), a Murrumbeena based patchwork and sewing club. We sincerely thank all the volunteers who helped us. The aim of the project was to provide a sustainable solution in the form of free fabric masks for needy communities, which we have identified. If you too would like to collaborate with us, know of a local community which needs our help or have an idea for a service project send us a message.

09.01.2022 A picture of our meeting tonight. Our next meeting is on the 4th of August at 7:30 PM Melbourne time. Prospective members are welcome to come join a meeting and see what our club is like. Message us if you are interested

06.01.2022 Together, though apart, we strive to serve our community! Few weeks ago, we had our first ever virtual concert where all proceeds collected were donated to Mental Health Foundation Australia (MFHA). MFHA delivered hot meals to COVID-19 affected high-rise apartments in Victoria. Monetary and dry rations were donated by our club to support them.... This certificate is in appreciation of our donations. We offer our continued support to them.

02.01.2022 Even though our meetings are cancelled our club has embraced working on projects from a distance. Our latest project was to donate winter jackets, sleeping bags, beanies and food vouchers to individuals experiencing homelessness with the help of the Monash Council. Big thank you to Aussie Disposals Ferntree Gully who managed to give us a generous discount.
