25.01.2022 Another fantastic Royal Show at the Royal Melbourne Show 2018 for Rotherwood Lowline Stud. I entered a junior heifer and a young senior bull who I knew were quality animals and they didn't disappoint with the following results: Rotherwood Number One Girl: *Junior Champion Heifer *Ellen Farrugia-Merlo Junior Champion Heifer Trophy *Small Breeds Supreme Champion Female... Rotherwood Master Maelstrom: (aka "Stormy") *Reserve Senior Champion Bull The Junior Champion Heifer Trophy is particularly poignant to me because of my dear and close friendship with Ellen and her encouragement over many years. Thank you Ellen you are sadly missed but never forgotten. Also particularly special to my heart is "Storm's" tremendous career in the show ring at not yet 2 years of age thus far. Sadly but very proudly he will be going to another stud to further his sire potential in NSW. Congratulations to Chrissy and Michael from Serena Downs Lowline Stud. Once again thank you to Matt Cooney and Crystal Prince for looking after my "2 beauties" at the show and also to Patrick Halloran, Nikki Williamson and Ryan Bajada . I thought Wish was going to be 18 years old today, however she will be the grand age of 19 She is simply beautiful in every way and such a good mum to her stunning 3mth old bull calf Rotherwood Radical. Wish got an extra special breakfast and dinner - not just a mud bath

After careful planning of almost 2 years the stunning Vitulus Groovi and Red and the powerful big boy Platinum Park The Red Baron had this lovely heifer yesterday on the first day of spring. Introducing Rotherwood Piping Hot Red. Ill be posting some photos of "Biggles" cracking progeny from some of my top "girl" line cows soon!

Calf Champion Male - Rotherwood Notorious (9 months). Junior Champion Male - Rotherwood Master Maelstrom (16 months). Senior Champion Male - Rotherwood Masterpiece (25 months). 1st place Exhibitors Group and up for the Grand Champion Male were all 3 bulls and the winner was Rotherwood Master Maelstrom....
