25.01.2022 Another great day trip from Rothwood. Bells rapids is only half an hour away, so plenty of time for a late afternoon nap before a few Stellas at the Kalamunda hotel. Lifes good!

25.01.2022 Suns out, streams following, music's playing, birds are singing the grass is green and spring has sprung. What a beautiful day for a wedding.

20.01.2022 To all our loyal followers and wonderful couples who've tied the knot at Rothwood. If you'd like a fresh lime to go with that G&T or ice cold corona on Sunday arvo please hit me up. Available for the next couple of days. Cheers Kevin 0414892506.

19.01.2022 There's certainly never a dull moment at Rothwood that's for sure. We awoke this morning to a tree that had blown over in the night. But this tree happened to be full of Bees. Luckily Ashley came to not only our rescue but also the Bees.

19.01.2022 It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. Sealing the pavers and preparing the pool for summer.

17.01.2022 Some pics from last night. The portable fire pit and gas heaters were gold.

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone your all welcome to a last minute open weekend on 17th and 18th at Rothwood. Please comment below or send a PM if you think you might drop by. I look forward to seeing you all soon. Kind regards Kevin

15.01.2022 To all our lovely couples who have guests travelling from a distance and who need overnight or weekend accommodation. This gorgeous property is just up the hill in Kalamunda. Talk to Vince who's a great guy and say Kevin from Rothwood sent you. #sharethelovetoday

14.01.2022 We've had dogs, cats a horse and Alpacas attend our lovely couples Ceremony in the past. But it was Bec and her Bunnies that took centre stage last week. Another first for Rothwood.

14.01.2022 A showery day yesterday so we chose the deck area for the sit down meal which worked very well. This set up was for 40 people. We managed to fit a great Ceremony in the back gardens in-between the showers, so although challenging to start with it turned out a very enjoyable day.

10.01.2022 Now here's a bit of a story from Saturdays wedding. Tim from Bit's 'n' Preeces dropped off and set up this fantastic Love sign. After a quick chat with Tim we realised we were both from Reading back in the UK. When I told Tim I was from Woodley he said no way his dad and step mum lived in Woodley. But it didn't stop there, Tims step mum is the same age as me and has lived in Woodley all her life. Her maiden name was Lisa Evans now I didn't remember the name but after Tim phoned Lisa and we chatted. We were in the same year at school and Lisa lives a stones throw from my parents. We new quite a few people in common. Then Lisa said you must know Amanda MacDonald. I replied i should do she's my sister. Apparently Lisa is my sister and brother in laws masseuse. It really is a small world.

09.01.2022 What a hard but very rewarding week. This will solve an issue we sometimes had a couple of times with our larger weddings. #environmentallyfriendly car park.

06.01.2022 Some more great pictures from last weekends wedding set up. Thanks to all the vendors mentioned that made this a great day.

05.01.2022 Huge congrats to Jayme and Chris, who had this very special peice of artwork commissioned for their wedding. I personally love this kind of skill and creative thinking, plus it will look great in your garden for decades to come. A shout out to Rusty Knuckled Creation who made this. You my friend are a very talented artist.

05.01.2022 Rothwood went all Phillippino style a few weekends ago. This has to be one of our biggest garden makeovers we've ever had. Looked great by the way.

03.01.2022 What an absolute pleasure it was for us to host this amazing couples dream wedding. Thank you so much Nat for your kind words, we're humbled to have you say such things. Take care in your futures together and may God bless you both abundantly. Kind regards Kevin and Swan.

01.01.2022 They look like they're a couple of weeks old now. Mumma duck must have hidden them well.
