25.01.2022 Each quarter the team gets together to nominate and vote for the colleague that they feel embodies all of the Rotor values for Rotor Rewards and we are excited to announce our winner for Q2 2019. Congratulations to Alex Atom! It has been an incredibly busy period for us this year, with so many exciting new projects in the works, but Alex has been as helpful and lovely as ever. His team members said "Ale is constantly a delight to work with. He is always so efficient and thorough and his collaboration with the Post-Production team has been absolutely amazing. Always working with a smile despite doing really focussed and time-consuming work. 10/10 would work with him again." We were asked to create a video that demystified the Electrified Vehicle technology with an aesthetic that was consistent with Toyota Europe's campaign. This film introduces the core components behind Toyota's Electrified Vehicles, but also demonstrates how the technology has evolved over time to create 4 unique powertrains, which have led to greater consumer choice and have enabled a growing number of drivers to participate in a sustainable future.

The second phase of this project focuses on the variety and capability of Toyota's Electrified Vehicles, whilst also demonstrating their confidence through a diverse range of environmental driving conditions, irrespective of temperature or road surface.

02.01.2022 It should come as no surprise that we have an incredibly talented team on our hands at Rotor, and our 3D Generalist Jimmy Nahlous is no exception. His passion for 3D extends far beyond the work he does at Rotor - he is known for his obsession with 3D printing and his next project is to build a full-scale Portal 2 Turret! In videos like the one below, Jimmy has been sharing updates on his project with Portal fans the world over: "I started in January 2019 and took about 3 months to 3D model and design, and so far about 3 months of continuous 3D printing...I hope to one day get Valve to fly me over to Valve HQ and have Gabe Newell and the creators of Portal sign it for me." It's pretty inspirational to have so much enthusiasm and excitement in our team, and we can't wait to see what Jimmy will accomplish next
