17.01.2022 So dont cut me short of commission Plasson But why dont your poly joiners in the bigger sizes 32mm up have the stop point removed so you can slide them up and back like a slip coupling. Save a lot of time excavating larger lines to get enough flex to spring in a joiner. You can just but join your pies and slip joiner back over in the middle and tighten up. Also thought of air admitance valve back when i was an apprentice in the seventies but never pushed the idea.... What was i thinking!! See more

13.01.2022 So i dont post much here rant wise but this Friday its time to bring up Tradie or Tradesman. In the last few years "Tradie" has become the very broad based term to describe any person Male or Female involved in building trades . The general perception of a " Tradie" is high vis workware , boots , utes , early start in the morning and early finish and maybe the existance of a " Coiney". Twenty years ago a "Tradesman" was someone with the ability to sort out and get past a tric...ky problem , they had foresite and the ability to think ahead and a genuine ability with tools and materials. They went by the Mantra " If it doesnt look right it most probably isnt". So lets see if we can colectively aim to get back to the higher level of care and consideration for our workmanship, other trades we are working with and our customers to produce a finished product that " Looks right - because it is " RANT OVER Roll on the weekend!! 01.01.2022 Hey Guys you don't have to believe everything you read in Social Media. Minor confusion over a hot water change over we did for Stock and Land in Betts street this afternoon. Yes we had to pull everything out of a small laundry to change over unit and fit new pipes and valves, then we left the site to allow Duyker electrical to do their work as no room for everyone in there. I returned at 5pm this afternoon after completing another job to sweep out and refit all the tenants e...quipment and goods into the room. I met the tenant and he said it was fine he had done it and that he had hot water, No angst or Agro. So i didn't think there was an issue between myself and the tenant till someone sent me a copy of the Post put up Defaming myself and our business. Have contacted the tenant since getting home and apparently he is still not happy although i returned to clean up and re stack laundry. Would have been nice if he had an issue he said something to me when i was there. Or giving me a call when he got home to see if i was returning. Happy Friday. {Yes i have contacted the Principal of Stock and Land to express my disappointment.] See more
