14.05.2022 Come along to the Meeting Roundabout Central West is holding their first meeting for 2022 this Saturday 5th February at Coco's Coffee Shop on Byng Street. We will be starting at 10:00am and you would be welcome to attend and see what we do. On the Agenda is the distribution of funds from the Christmas Stocking to RSPCA and Housing Plus' The Orchard Women's Domestic Violence Refuge. We will also be discussng support for Blazeaid Forbes and more. If you would like to share in a light lunch after the meeting please let us know. You can call 0419262978 or Message via this FB Page. 10.05.2022 Meeting Invitation Roundabout Central West will be holding its first meeting for 2022 on Saturday February 5th at Coco's Cafe in Orange. The meeting will commence at 10:00am and will be followed by the AGM. A light lunch will be provided after the AGM. If you would like to see and learn a bit more about what Roundabout Central West does in the community please come along. If you are attending please send an RSVP via FB Messenger before 5:00pm Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Some of the items on the agenda are distribution of funds from the 2021 Christmas Stocking, support for Blazeaid Forbes Flooded Fence Repairs and the next free children's Winter Clothing Pool.

25.04.2022 Christmas Stocking 2021 This years Christmas Stocking was won by long term Orange Resident Barry Neale holder of ticket no.18856. Barry was very kind, only taking a few of the toys for his Great Grandchildren and has donated the remainder to The Orchard. This will certainly bring some happiness and put a smile on the faces of the children. This year the recipients of the funds raised from the sale of tickets in the stocking were the Orange Branch of the RSPCA and The Orchard ...DV Refuge. Having the toys donated to the Orchard has doubled the outcome of this fundraiser. Roundabout Central West is pleased to be able to supply the very full Christmas Stocking (and the Tickets) for the benefit of these two very worthy causes. If you bought tickets in the stocking we would like to say thank you for helping out and supporting RSPCA and The Orchard. Also thank you to Phil Donato for drawing the winner. 25.01.2022 Meeting this Sunday Roundabout Central West will be holding a Covid-19 Safe meeting in the Moresby Room at the Orange Ex Services Club this Sunday commencing at 3:00pm. Interested persons are welcome to attend. On the agenda is the update on our recently completed Drought relief Program and progress on the Christmas Stocking and Ham Wheel. Registration, social distancing and hand sanitizer on entry is required.

25.01.2022 Here's Our Latest Project Hay for Flooded Farmers in the Hawkesbury We are sending 200 bales of hay to flood affected farmers in the Hawkesbury Basin.... The hay has been generously donated by Aaron and Amy Gormly of Forest Reefs. Roundabout Central West is looking to fund the cost of production with funds so far contributed by Roundabout Central West and Orange North Rotary Club but we could do with some extra help. The cost of production is $6600 so we need a hand to help cover this cost. Farmers in the Hawkesbury area were inundated by the recent floods and have lost their stocks of hay and also the crops that would have filled their feed sheds for winter. Winter is just around the corner and stock needs to be fed so farmers in the Richmond/Windsor area are in desperate need of hay. 24.01.2022 Drought Relief Project Completed Roundabout Central West members travelled to Caragabal to handover $16,000 in drought relief. The funds will be distributed to farmers in the Caragabal area of the Weddin Shire. Even though there has been rain and the area looks significantly better than a year ago full recovery from the effects of drought will take several years. Funding for this project came from the proceeds of our 2019 Christmas Ham Wheel plus a Rotary Matching Grant for ...Drought Relief utilising the funds donated by Dick Smith and administered by Rotary Australia World Community Services. The representatives from Caragabal were very appreciative of the assistance and said apart from the financial benefit to the farmers and businesses in Grenfell it is the emotional boost of knowing the farmers who provide food for our tables are not forgotten. Unfortunately the Bushfires and then Covid 19 has taken the emphasis in the media of late but the drought is not over by a long way. Roundabout Central West wish to thank the people of Orange and suurounding areas who buy tickets in our Choclate Wheel at Christmas. 23.01.2022 Fundraising Dinner Success Over 70 diners, including a large contingent from Orange North Rotary Club, enjoyed a Dutch INdonesian Flavoured Buffet dinner on Saturday night to aid in funding the purchase of an additional ECG Machine for Orange Health Service. By all reports and judging by the loud chatter and laughter a great night was had. We would like to thank Coles and Woolworths Supermarkets, On Trac AG, Heifer Station Wines and Cafe Latte for their support. Members, family and friends of Roundabout Central West helped in setting up, cooking and serving. Funds raised on the evening are estimated to exceed $4,000. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this night the success it was.

15.01.2022 Another Project by Roundabout Central West. The shelves and bench in the store shed at the Orchard Women's Refuge Centre in Orange were recently supplied and installed by Roundabout Central West. Funding came from the proceeds of the Christmas Ham Wheel held each year in Orange Central Square Shopping Centre. Without the support of the people of Orange and District plus visitors to Orange projects like these would not be possible. Thank you every one and I think you would agree the store now looks pretty good. Staff at the Orchard were very happy with the job. Big Impact Janet and Suzanne Members of Roundabout Central West went shopping to buy thongs and chased up caps for the residents of the Mens and Womens Mental Health Units at Bloomfield. The items were very much appreciated. Sometimes its the little things we do that get the best results.

05.01.2022 We are collecting Baseball Caps Do you have any new baseball caps in your cupboards? We are collecting baseball caps (new ones) like the one in the picture. We will be donating them to the Mental Health Unit at Bloomfield for both the men and women residents to wear. Businesses might have some surplus or individuals might have more than they can wear so please get in touch (message is good) and we will do the rest.
