21.01.2022 We are up and on the market again from October 1st with 16 nights booked so far this month. Looking forward to a slow recovery and to meeting fellow Tasmanians as they relax and unwind in the special ambience of the Roundhouse. Do yourself and your loved ones a favour. Book the Roundhouse for your rainforest and mountains getaway. Remember when you could travel between states with no restrictions or quarantining.? The Blonde Nomads visited the Roundhouse 3 years ago long before we could imagine that borders could ever close.

18.01.2022 Morning magic at the Roundhouse today.

09.01.2022 Japanese Bathhouse or Onsen Activities at the Roundhouse You might be interested to take a short self guided walk from the Roundhouse into the rainforest to see where our beautiful spring water comes to the surface in natural pools in a tree fern forest.... Then, in case you might be interested, there’s the Japanese bathhouse. The bathhouse is based on Japanese onsen bathing. It's woodfired pure spring water from the rainforest and the minerals are wonderful for the skin. It takes 12 hours and about three large wheel barrows of wood to get the 2000 litres to the best temperature but stays hot for ages and can be used for twelve hours. All that takes a fair bit of effort on my part so unfortunately I have to charge a $120 fee. I thoroughly recommend it Cheers Kim See more

08.01.2022 Our first guests, on 1st October, after our 6 month shut down, helped us realise that we really do enjoy being hosts, and that the rewards of hosting are many, and are greater in value than our booking fees. Here’s what Morgan and Lauren said about their stay at the Roundhouse. 'A soul nourishing experience. We were so overwhelmed. Incredible thought and detail everywhere you looked, extremely creative and made with love and care. The Roundhouse had such great energy. Waking up to the trees and the mountain in the morning with the sun was magic. We truly fell in love with it. Kim is an incredible man and we were lucky to meet him and learn his story. He is extremely humble for what he has created. Just magic’ Morgan and Lauren your visit was an absolute pleasure. Go well my friends!

07.01.2022 This morning’s sunrise from the Roundhouse .

06.01.2022 The Roundhouse Rainforest & Mountains We are excited about reopening for visits from 1st October 2020.... New furnishings and thorough refresh after the long break. We’ve been missing hosting people and look forward to once again providing unique experiences and excellent accommodation. The rainforest and mountains give seclusion, the air and water are pure, the architecture is quirky. Please make use of the Tasmanian government’s travel vouchers by using your booking receipt from AirBnB or Booking.com.to claim the $100 refund. Check these sites for up to date availability. If you can’t use a voucher save a booking fee by contacting us through this Facebook page, by email [email protected] You can call or text Kim Clark on 0427685216

04.01.2022 Losing all our overseas and interstate bookings was a big surprise! I hope Tasmanians might be tempted by a $50 reduction on the price. Contact me direct if you want to bypass the booking sites. 0427695216 or [email protected].

04.01.2022 We recently learned that we have the only hot spring baths in the state! Some Japanese residents from Hobart recently discovered that we had one and have visited especially to use it.
