02.01.2022 We had some large flame height this morning and the fire was moving quickly around Wild Horse Mountain/Central creek and the open ground south of Granitevale Road (vicinity Granitevale station). It looks like the weather may be on our side for once and a cool change has drifted in. Cross your fingers and we might get some rain. Plenty of smoke across the Pinnacles. Make sure your fire breaks are in place and your fire plan is sorted.

01.01.2022 Called to the Old Common Road today, looks like the happy valley groundsman decided to extend the back burns we did last night to include all the area around airport. Good effort, 5 different ignition points along the road edge
