22.01.2022 A fantastic day was had by all at the Year 7 2021 Orientation Day! Our new students experienced a range of exciting and fun activities, such as building bottle rockets and digging for treasure in mini archaeological sites! Congratulations to our wonderful Year 10 Peer Support Leaders who exhibited impeccable leadership skills throughout the day and showcased what it means to be a Rouse Hill High School student! 16.01.2022 Learning together in Science- In preparation for the trial HSC, Stage 6 Biology students taught the concept of protein synthesis to some of our Year 9 students. In turn, Year 9 taught our Biology students about Milankovitch cycles.

10.01.2022 YR 12 EMPLOYMENT and TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES The NSW Department of Education has announced a new two-year infrastructure traineeship that will provide Year 12 school leavers with immediate employment opportunities, giving them well rounded experience in the infrastructure sector. Applications for the two-year NSW Government program are now open, and more than 100 school leavers will be offered these traineeships in infrastructure-based office roles commencing in February 2021.... 04.01.2022 Year 2020 Summer Skills Package - Fee Free Training and Skills A new Summer Skills package of fee-free training and skills support is now available to all 2020 Year 12 school leavers. Students can take short vocational courses over this summer period, and both short and long vocational courses across 2021 to try new skills and learn what interests them. 02.01.2022 Year 9 Commerce took part in the Innovation Nation challenge during their Running a Business unit. Two groups were chosen as winners for their innovative business ideas. These groups participated in a conference with coaches from the Foundation for Young Australians to further develop their business plan. Well done to the winners! Citibank has sponsored each group by issuing them with a very generous $1000 each to actually launch each business!!!
