Communities in the Blue Mountains, Clarence Valley, Richmond Valley, Walcha, Armidale, Namb...ucca, Kempsey, Tenterfield, and the Mid Coast were all being impacted by fire. At 6pm 94 fires were burning across the state. 04.01.2022 GET READY FOR BUSH FIRE | Prepare your home It's only 5 days until Summer! A well prepared home is more likely to survive a bush fire.... Even if your plan is to leave early, the more you prepare your home, the more likely it will survive an ember attack or bush fire. 5 DAYS AND 5 ACTIONS 1. Trim overhanging trees & shrubs. 2. Mow grass & remove cuttings. Have a clear area around your home. 3. Remove material that can burn around your home. 4. Clear debris & leaves from the gutters. 5. Prepare a sturdy hose/s that will reach all around your home. For more info https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-p/prepare-your-property
