24.01.2022 Sending love from the Rovay Window Gallery as we move to stage four restrictions in Melbourne. A new exhibition with four framed works on paper have been installed to help evoke some respite and mood-altering experiences for the local community while on essential duties. The purchase of food and necessary supplies must be done within a 5 km radius from where you live. ... Details of two works on paper: Urban Monarch and Drums Beat the Wings of her Applause Both works will be posted in full soon. Take care and stay safe

24.01.2022 Open for viewing, at the Rovay Window Gallery throughout July. Exhibiting ‘Footpath’ inspired by my local shopping centre, Armstrong Street Middle Park. It is only a few minutes walk from this gallery. Heart warming to receive the locals’ response and talk about the work at a safe distance.

18.01.2022 My voice is a little muffled by a face mask but letting you know that this month’s Rovay Wraparound Window Gallery is up and running. This exhibition consists of 7 works on paper. Four of them are already beautifully framed and 3 more are unframed. I realise that not everyone can pass by and view this month’s exhibition due to our new restrictions. But! I will endeavour to take the time to share with you each installed work soon.

14.01.2022 Great to see the Rovay Window Gallery included in the Plush Friends book publication by Emilia Kate Zados. With each monthly exhibition (on the first of every month) I include a question from Teddy Bear’s speech bubble relating to the work on exhibition. As a curator of this new space, my intention is to instigate a discussion between the local children and their parents who visit. My hope is to provide some relief and stimulation during an uncertain period. By purchasing this book you are contributing to Save The Children Foundation COVID-19 Crisis Appeal.. Plush Friends: Reflections in the time of COVID-19 can be purchased from Amazon.com.au

03.01.2022 May exhibition at the Rovay Gallery has been installed titled : Location, Locale and a Sense of Place Image: Windshield Covered with Pollen 2013,... Acrylic paint on canvas, 122 X 91 cm. (From a private collection) Location in this painting: Corner Armstrong St. and Richardson St. Middle Park. In this May exhibition selection of works, I examin continuity in place identity and/or what has not changed and how might it change in the future. These places in my work were lived in, are lived in, they have names and are filled with buildings, streets and activities. The works selected for this exhibition are permeated by memories of place, history of place, values and beliefs that lend meaning to the HERE and NOW.
