22.01.2022 Well done to Jacko Murphy today scoring his maiden century while representing Tumby Bay in the Country Carnival in Adelaide. Opening the innings and after a slow start, his brilliant 153 which included 19 fours and 7 sixes dominated Tumbys scorecard of 7/242. They defeated Quorn who were dismissed for 143 to get the boys off to a great start for the week

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Jacko (Jackson Murphy) and Hazza (Harry Degner) who have both been selected in the SA Outbacks trial squad to play in Adelaide on the 6th and 7th January. Following on from his State Selection and performances in Toowoomba earlier this year, Jacko has again been included in the squad, while Harry will be looking to gain selection in the final side after strong performances at club, association and EP level. Great achievement from 2 of our young stars doing the Rovers Cricket Club, Tumby Bay Association and EP Cricket proud. Best of luck lads

19.01.2022 The Rovers Cricket Club would like to acknowledge and pay respects to the Newton family on the passing of one of lifes true gentlemen in Bernie Newton. Bernie was the clubs first captain in 1961, a former president, committee member, life member, premiership player and vice captain of the clubs team of the half century. A talented opening bowler and lower order batsmen, Bernie was a highly respected player both on and off the field, with his service to the Rovers Cricket Club and Tumby Bay Cricket Association as a player, administrator, supporter, and life member widely acknowledged and highly respected. A great leader who will be sadly missed by all who knew him, 92, a great innings, RIP Bernie

13.01.2022 Just a reminder that our A Grade game will start at 10.30am this Saturday against Ramblers .... get along to the Town Oval and enjoy full bar and bistro facilities, we will be running some sweeps for the Cox Plate , and AFL Grand Final sweeps and margin comps for the big game on Saturday night ... would love to welcome everybody along to a great day at the town oval and then encourage everybody from both clubs to join us back at our major sponsor, the Seabreeze Hotel to enjoy the AFL grand final over a few drinks .... look forward to seeing everyone there!!

10.01.2022 Best of luck to Tyson and Oz who are representing the EP Under 16 side this week in the Barossa .... go well boys and enjoy the week The side is also under the tutorlidge of coach Bart Higgins, seeing the Mighty Rovers well represented Congratulations to all other players that have made the side from across the EP, with our club proud to be sponsoring EP Junior Cricket this year. 09.01.2022 Congratulations to Wade Gerrie on capturing his first A Grade 5 wicket haul against Ramblers on Saturday Batting first, Rovers posted a competitive 173 dominated by a classy 74 from young gun Brodie Higgins, while juniors Huddo Franks and Eddie Murphy both made valuable contributions towards the end of the innings. After a solid start Ramblers at one stage were 1/64 before being bowled out for 109. Wadeos capturing an impressive 5/15 from his 8 overs and Huddo impressing again with the ball taking 2/18 from his 10. The win puts us 2 games clear in top spot with 1 round to play before finals start
