Not just in relation to performances on the field but the effort the committee put in off the field to ensure the season could get up and running for our members. 17.01.2022 Congratulations goes to Thomas Gough, our club president was this week honoured for is commitment to local football in our religion by being named the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Year, Tom heads a team of volunteers that ensure the smooth running of our club. Much of Tom’s work goes unnoticed, along with coaching both junior & senior teems much of Tom’s work is behind the scenes keeping our great club moving forward. Rovers FC thanks all our volunteers for their efforts throughout 2020 in what has been a challenging year.

15.01.2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Richmond Rovers Football Clubs AGM will be held on Sunday the 15th of November starting at 3pm at the East Lismore Bowling Club. All club members are invited to attend however we are currently limited to the current COVID restrictions. If you would like to attend this years AGM please get in touch with our President Tom Gough as soon as possible. All committee positions will be made vacant. The regular monthly meeting for November will be held afterwards.

13.01.2022 SENIOR MEN TRAINING Senior mens preseason starts on Sunday the 17th of January 5pm start Then followed by Wednesday afternoons 6pm start All returning and new players from all grades are welcome to join Registrations will open in early February

08.01.2022 WALLY EDWARDS Congratulations to Wally Edwards who became a life member of Richmond Rovers Football Club at the AGM on Sunday Wally has dedicated much of his life to Rovers since joining the club in 1977 Wally played over 200 senior games for Rovers during the 1970's, 1980's and into the early 1990's In addition to being a player Wally also coached and managed many successful junior, men's and women's teams over the years... Wally has also been an active member on the Rovers committee since the 1980s holding many different roles over this time In addition to the many things Wally has done for the club, Wally has also organised working bees at club founder Bill Harris' house to assist with gardening and general maintenance Wally is a highly respected member of Richmond Rovers Football Club and any club would be be happy to have someone of his quality within their ranks See more
