25.01.2022 SALE ALERT $50 Tasmanian Nature Canvases For those, who are interested in some long exposure nature photos, this post is for you. I have 45cm wide and 30 cm long canvases, printed with my very own photos. These ones were part of my exhibition and they have been wrapped and sitting on a shelf since then. I feel like it is time for them to unite with their new owners. The RRP price for these canvases were $125, however after unwrapping them I noticed few minor scratches on th...e side corner of some of them so, I have reduced the price to $50 per canvas. 25.01.2022 I was out for a quick sunset shoot this evening. Streets were so quiet and peaceful. It was just a nice feeling to just enjoy our city without the rush! I do think we live in a great city. One of my friends replied to my stories saying it looks like Europe. Which I agree and may be that’s why I love it here what do you like about where you live? I invested in a new camera ... a real good one and slowly I am going to start coming back to shoot nature, portraits etc. I went out today for some sunset photography under Tasman Bridge. 17.01.2022 Today I went through quite a lot of photos in my folders as I have few clients who are wanting few different prints. So, I was in the process of gathering various options then I came across to this photo. Not sure why I overlooked at it at the time but I like how the clouds are shaped the same way the look out part of the shoe (sorry I have always called that building a shoe as it looks like an upside down shoe!) and the bit of glitter (aka the city lights) on the left cor...ner is adding a bling ... while the Aurora goes on about its show as it reminds me the song from Queen Show Must Go Oooooonnn yea e yeah! The lesson I learnt today is though: Never attempt posting anything at this time of the night when you are so tired! 13.01.2022 I got this milky way shot a week or two ago. I went out to photograph bioluminescence and I did but overall the shots weren’t up to my standards so I decided not to post them apart from this one. This was going to be part of a panoramic shot however ended up being the photo itself. I just loved the composition of the clouds with Milky Way. 12.01.2022 #Bioluminescent Plankton Bloomed in Southern Tasmania from April 2015 until the end of May 2015. Towards the end of May it was probably the most colourful time. It took attention of most #photographers as well as public, who wanted to have the first hand experience. This natural phenomena although has got a down side, it certainly brought photographers in the light. International media channels as well as online magazines asked most of us to provide them with photos, wh...ich we happily shared. Most importantly Tasmania received lots of curiosity from future #travellers. #Tasmania is a beautiful island of #Australia where nature and city life go hand in hand and you get to experience some natural occurances, which you may not see in different parts of the world. As a dedicated #Aurora #Australis chaser/photographer, #bioluminescence mixed things up for us and brought more #creativity in our lives even for a short time. And now Tasmania is experiencing more Bioluminescence occurrences than ever before due to Climate Change. Although it brings excitement to many to witness it, it surely isn’t a good sign for the future of our planet. Let’s hope at least #Covid19 is bringing the earths temperature down by locking us all in our homes. Stay safe everyone and my heart goes out to all who are affected directly. We used to know him as the Proton Arc until recently the scientists from NASA discovered that Steve in fact is not part of Aurora but happens in earth when Auroral Activities happen. Well when I saw him few times during my hunt of the lady Aurora, Steve came out to dance with her and I have to say he was also such a poser and a handsome fella. 08.01.2022 One of the many magnificent Auroras I have witness. I remember that there was a heavy rain but New Zealand was reporting amazing Aurora sights besides the gauges showing a good hit over Tassie as well. I just grabbed my gear and hopped in my car and hit the road despite the rain and I kept praying that it would stop as soon as I arrive to my destination. And guess what!!! One of the rare moments that my prayers were answered as ok and I stepped out of my car as rain stopped... and the sky got cleared so quickly that I could start taking photos of this amazing view. 07.01.2022 Greetings to everyone! This has been a belated post as I have been wanting to share on what has been happening. As you have noticed, I have changed my photography name to my name as a first step. I have also decided not to continue on doing event photography ( i.e. weddings, birthdays, etc) I may be still doing portrait photography depending on the enquiries I will be receiving. I have just closed down my website. Being a mother of twins, time is something I need to invent t...hese days :) So, website management cannot coexist as I have been wearing many hats (mother, wife, business development manager, photographer and creative etsy artist). Going forward, I will be sharing my nature and long exposure photos old and new. I will be open to sell these as printed products as well. I will be sharing product links. I am happy to receive any questions or enquiries you may have. I apologise for being quite for some time and hoping to share some of my photos very soon again.
