22.01.2022 Had a morning row with the lads yesterday. Tried the Richmond River out of Ballina instead of the Bruns. Training for the Head Of The Tweed next weekend. 23km in just over two hours. Reminder to self.....do not forget the gloves I purchased!!! Blisters on blisters!
19.01.2022 This sport is THE sport. Whether our Aussie four mans, O/seas two person dories or the larger crewed boats. Gonna get me one as soon as I can.
18.01.2022 Just a thought, but if any boaties know of any other races over winter, let me know. Cheers. Andy
18.01.2022 One hour later and everyone still smiling. Adam is barred from wearing flanno shirts on the boat again!
13.01.2022 Hi all. Dusted off the rolling seats on the weekend. A few spares needed but next Saturday I’m completing rigging the boat so I’ll be in touch. There’s quite a few of you keen to row for fun and fitness and if you’ve never rowed before, I hope you can give it a go and you’ll be hooked. For those who visit this page, like it if you can as if your interested I can keep you in the loop. I’m going to create a Team App team schedule so we can keep things organised. See you soon. Andy
12.01.2022 Calling all those interested in getting on board. I am keen to get a crew/crews up for some fun and fitness. Pittwater and Narrabeen Lagoon, Middle Harbour beckon. A great way to get/stay fit, lose pounds against the awesome backdrop of the beautiful Northern Beaches. Safe (non surf) rowing, rolling seats allowing comfortable, all season rowing. The more the merrier and I will try to be as flexible as I can with days/times. 'Guns Up!' If you know of someone keen to sweep let me know.
11.01.2022 Jason, Iain, Jonathan, Stewie and I did the Head Of The Tweed row yesterday. 2hrs 44sec. Great day on the water and only passed by 3 surf skis. Hands look like mince meat at the moment though. This was the first year they had a surf boat class and whilst we did win a prize as the first surf boat to pass the line....we were the only bloody surfboat in it, which was disappointing, but at least we have set the bar for others to beat. Come on boaties, where were you?? This is a great race and worth a hit out.

09.01.2022 Rolling seats in and finally a session in the boat tomorrow. Forecast is sunny and light winds. I’m very happy and thanks to Jean, Steph, Ash and Col for crewing the first of many awesome sessions.
06.01.2022 We rowed the Mullum to Bruns paddle on Sunday. Sun was out, tide was running out and was a festive atmosphere on the water. Five surfboats turned out 2 from Cabarita slsc, 2 from Brunswick slsc and our boat.
04.01.2022 This is why a 5.30am wake up is worth it!
04.01.2022 The team. From left to right Jason, Me, Iain, Mike, Adam all sporting the Team colours. 58mins 15 sec. Looking forward to the Head Of The Tweed on the 16th. 21km.
02.01.2022 Awesome row yesterday at Clareville Beach. 1st hit out with the rolling seats fitted...luxury. Boat performed really well as did the crew. Thanks Jean, Ash, Col and Steph. Also got my wings as sweep for a while. Water was amazing, nil wind and a balmy 20degree Winter day. Anyone interested to get aboard, drop me a message. I’m looking for crew.
