25.01.2022 Only thing a fixed rowing machine should be used for!

25.01.2022 Rowing is a great way to increase or maintain your cardio fitness - with out the impact that running can put on your joints. Using the Indoor Sculler is an accurate simulation of on water rowing, the dynamic action gives you the cardio benefits with out the potential back injury that a fixed machine can give!

23.01.2022 "This is not just a matter of the frame of reference: in the static case (ergometer) you are actually performing more work accelerating your whole body weight up and down the slides, thereby creating high levels of kinetic energy. In the dynamic case (boat) your body weight is relatively stationary, creating much lower levels of kinetic energy and thus requiring less work to be done to reverse this kinetic energy. It results in an athlete needing to put in six times more energy just accelerating and decelerating their own body weight, compared to on water rowing." https://www.rowingnsw.asn.au//Fixed%20vs%20Dynamics%20Ergo

23.01.2022 Triple Olympic rowing champion Andrew T Hodge hangs up his oars. What is his plan after the retirement?

19.01.2022 Rowperfect Canada having a great time introducing the Indoor Sculler to rowers at the World Rowing Coastal Championships last week!

18.01.2022 .... or anytime anyone is on a fixed erg!

18.01.2022 Whats one of the best ways to do High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) - Indoor Sculler of course!! "Newer research has established that as little as 10 minutes of intense HIIT, three times per week can elicit meaningful heath benefits," says Stork, a PhD candidate at UBC's Okanagan campus. "For busy people who may be reluctant to try HIIT for the first time, this research tells us that they can actually enjoy it, and they may be more likely to participate in HIIT again if they try it with music."

15.01.2022 What is the difference between fixed ergs & dynamic simulators? Take a look & see....

15.01.2022 "As a total-body, full range-of movement exercise, rowing is an exceptional cross training tool producing multiple physical benefits. By combining those benefits with the elimination of gravity shocks it becomes almost unique."

14.01.2022 This is what we love to hear D. from Leichhardt collected her Sculler last Thursday and this message came through the following morning.... "Lovin it!! Best Birthday present ever! Thank you & I really love having an Australian product too"

13.01.2022 Of course theres no mention of the safety benefits of Dynamic Rowing over Fixed Rowing or the reduction of stress on the lower back specifically when using a Dynamic Erg.

12.01.2022 Thats a wrap! There were some outstanding results on 'Finals Day' at the 2019 Henley Royal Regatta. A massive congratulations to the crew of Oscar Olsen, Osc...ar Carr-Middleton, Alex Potter, Alex Nichol and coach Franz Imfeld from Sydney Rowing Club for winning the 2019 Wyfold Challenge Cup (4-). To see the footage click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9kx3FmBqW4 Well done to all Australian Crews or crews containing Australians that took part over the past 5 days. You did us all proud. All footage and pictures are courtesy of Henley Royal Regatta.

11.01.2022 This video shows so clearly the difference between using a fixed ergo (any ergo where the user moves up and down the bar towards the resistance mechanism) and a dynamic ergo like the Indoor Sculler (where the resistance mechanism moved towards & away from the user). You can see the excessive movement on the C2. The Indoor Sculler is better for your back, eliminates the head shake & accurately mimics the 'on'water' technique. Why would you use anything else??

10.01.2022 I think the paralympic athletes from all sports are amazing

10.01.2022 "Fantastic video from a bow mounted camera looking back down the boat, with excellent calls by Cox Katie Foulkes. The rowing is of very high quality ..... it's difficult to find a lot of fault with anything happening in this boat!"

06.01.2022 Mark gives an example of what his general work out entails and the reasons behind why he trains the way he does.

05.01.2022 This is one of the many reasons to invest in a Rowperfect Indoor Sculler. When we say they are manufactured to last we mean it! We are always looking at new ways to improve the Sculler, however ALL of our improvements can be retrofit to any RowPerfect. How many machines - of any kind - on the market allow that sort of continuous development? ... #3041 is a 10 year old Indoor Sculler from the first production run. It was cleaned and updated with the new flywheel, adjustable axles, main shaft & clutch, cage cover & outer cage strip and updated front Delrin roller. There were no repairs needed, these were just upgrades from original parts and its smoother now than the day it was made. Six years use in an institution followed by private use for the last 4 years. The RP Classic is 17 years old!! It has been used by two national champion rowers, kept covered in a garage but otherwise minimal maintenance. Only one elastic wheel required replacement, added new version monitor and arm with minimal fuss, cleaned and adjusted and ready to go.

05.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Happy New Year & prosperous 2017!! If you are ever in Sydney give us a call and stop on by our new Crew Room....our own little piece of serenity
