25.01.2022 Strathbogie Story is LIVE! www.strathbogiestory.com We are super excited to launch this exciting new project we’ve been working on.... Strathbogie Story aims to help those feeling lonely and isolated and to simply share awesome local stories as we work through the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic together. The initiative encourages community connection by highlighting stories from many colourful local identities, who share their experiences as they too, face ongoing challenges. We’ll be updating our new purpose-built website regularly with new video clips, written articles and digital media content so you can watch and share others experiences of the pandemic. We’re also launching fun initiatives such as a children’s storybook project for primary school aged children, we’re sharing creative writing from locals of all ages and we’ve also designed a range of free postcards which will be placed at collection-points throughout the Shire, so our residents can send messages of support to loved-ones near and far. Further to last nights post regarding our reopening on Saturday please be aware of the following in relation to dining. ... *As we are extremely limited with patron numbers bookings are essential and we will require a deposit for confirmation. The deposit is your money and it will be deducted from your total dining expense. *We will have 2 sittings for dinner service. 5.30pm til 7pm and 7.30pm til 9pm. *Bar patronage will also need to be pre booked on busier days. *TAB will open at Midday this coming Saturday for wagering and account options only. There will be no seating available in the TAB Wednesday to Sunday but the TAB will be open each day from Midday. Whilst today’s news is awesome for all of regional Victoria these next few weeks will be trying for the hospitality industry as we endeavour to balance the very stringent guidelines set out. Please be patient with us and others in the industry as it is going to be a tough call managing these new rules. * We are limited to 20 people inside. ... * We can have up to 50 people outside (distancing protocols apply) * It is full table service ( you must be seated at all times whilst consuming alcohol) * We must remain physically distanced at all times * We can take an individual booking for 10 people only * There is strictly a 2 hour time limit. * Electronic digital contact tracing is mandatory Further to these Government guidelines please note that we are aiming to reopen at 12 noon on Saturday 19th September. We will be operating different time sittings for all aspects of the business across each day and the times will be likely to vary each day. Bookings will be essential for all aspects of the business. And deposits will be required for confirmation of dining. Take away and delivery of meals will remain. In relation to the TAB we are still waiting for notification as to when and how we can open.
