20.01.2022 Since the early days of the COVID-19 lockdown, many of our temp visa holders working in industries such as hospitality and retail, lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. 65% of our temp visa holders lost their job 39% arent making enough money to cover basic living expenses such as, rent, groceries, bills and transport. 43% were skipping meals regularly (this is definitely not ok by us!)... 34% were already homeless or evicted because they couldnt pay rent. Theyre unable to leave Australia due to the current restrictions and cannot even fathom the idea of leaving Australia because theyve invested so much into their studies. This absolutely devastates us as we have so many friends, family and even staff whove come from afar! @arteliajewellery have so generously sponsored 200 entire meals to be handed out to temp visa holders in need! This meal will include a Single Stack, reg fries and drink. Theres no catches, no sign ups or any funny business.
