07.01.2022 After all these years it still frustrates me...... the number of women who pile into the group training cardio classes or spend their entire time on the cardio equipment at the gym. When I ask women why they don't venture into the weights room the most common answer; I'm too scared as it's always full of guys. Trust me ladies they are like spiders, they are more scared of you than you are of them : ). Seriously ladies if you really want to change your body and drop the body ...fat you really need to hit the weights. Not only does resistance training result in more effective fat loss as more muscle means more calorie expenditure (even at rest) but you will also decrease your chance of osteoporosis, injury, back pain, diabetes, the list goes on. And to top it off you will gain strength (not bulk) and have a kick ass body that you will want to show off in those mirrors at the gym - yes ladies I know how much you love those mirrors : ).
