Congratulations also to Braedon Law who won the Nett category. Braedon went low today having 73 off the stick to win the Nett by 2 Well done to all, was awesome to see so many smiling faces out there the last two days

13.01.2022 8-shot victory Maddison Hinson-Tolchard shot 72 (1-under) today to finish at 10-under overall and seperate herself from the field. 13.01.2022 Those who are fond of the amazing flora and fauna out on the golf course will be pleased to know that we have three Boobook Owls residing in one of the large trees on the right side of the fairway on Hole 11. The Boobook Owl is the most common and smallest native Australian owl. Recently, Club member and keen amateur photographer Sze-Seng Kwong took some time out from his golf round to capture these images for all of us to enjoy!

Still some tough scoring though, unless youre Maddison Tolchard, who crushed the previous ladies Course Record but a whopping 4 shots. 12.01.2022 PROSHOP COVID MATCHPLAY UPDATE - We're sure you would have seen the videos, what a last couple of days. A few days ago...... Steve v Charlie - Charlie looking to end his winless streak and Steve looking to challenge the top boys, they went out on a busy Friday to battle it out. Although Charlie put his best foot forward, Steve was just too solid. As usual, Steve par'd his way to a victory. That makes Charlie 0-4 and Steve 2-2 Connor v Dallas - Two players in some form. Dallas coming off 39 points whilst Connor produced the same performance on Tuesday. 1-down after 3 holes, Connor was on the back foot. Dallas was feeling confident. Usually, Connor asks Dallas what he should do on the 4th tee; this time, Connor backed himself and pumped driver to 70m out. He never looked back. Having 1-putts on everyone hole all but one through 6-14, he took down Holdsworth 5/4. Dane v Andy - What. A. Match. With Dane and Connor in a cart together, Faulds was pumping up Dane for the win, as it would ultimately help him more than Dane. After some wild drives, Dane found himself 1-up with 1 to play. Fighting the daylight, Gossy came out with the range cart for some much needed lighting assistance. Without seeing where their drives went up 18, they both managed to find it. Despite using a different putting grip on the last as he used on the 1st, 4th and 15th, Andy made a HUGE putt to take the match to sudden death. Going back to the tee at this point wasn't an option. They went back to 150m out, TWICE. After that, 100m. Finally, dane decided to let us all go home and 3 putted to give Andy the win. Andy goes 4-0 and Dane goes 1-3. That means after 4 rounds Andy and Connor are well clear of the rest and no one else can win. Fitting that the final round of the format has Andy v Connor. Winner takes all. A date and tee time is to come if members would like to come and watch. All are welcome! Below is a shot from Andy in the first playoff hole which was played in the dark.
