22.01.2022 It’s OFFICIAL, the 2021 7hofm Royal Hobart Regatta is BACK, one of Australia’s oldest and largest aquatic festivals, to be held on the River Derwent on 6 to 8 February 2021. This will be the 183rd anniversary of the first regatta in 1838, and will showcase a huge program of rowing, swimming, sailing, kayaking and power boats a real waterborne spectacular, along with great family entertainment ashore. The crowd management on the Regatta Ground site is being planned to allow... optimum people numbers on the site (subject to any COVID restrictions at the time) and assessing practical ways that we can ensure the safety of our visitors through social distancing measures - managed through free ticketed attendance to the site. A full program of events is planned, and we will release more detail in the next few weeks.

It’s a joint event with the Australian Wooden Boat Festival and Royal Hobart Regatta Great... opportunity to get on the water and celebrate the Regatta. We will depart Hobart at 08:00 and head towards the Iron Pot before turning and joining the fleet to sail back to Hobart. Morning tea and lunch included. So if you want to race keelboats, off-the-beach yachts or kayaks, swim the river, row dinghies, compete for Regatta Ambassador or the Junior Boy Girl Pageant please head over to our website now and join in the action! More events will be added as the rest of 2020 roles on and into the new year so please keep an eye here and on the website. Food stalls, vendors and rides can now apply, and we’re registering additional volunteers now.
