02.01.2022 JOIN OUR ON LINE CHAT AND RACE SUNDAY 7TH JUNE FROM 4PM This years planned 30th anniversary of the Australian Womens Keelboat Regatta (AWKR) may have been postponed until 2021 but that wont stop us catching up for a Zoom chat at 4pm AEST on Sunday June 7th to celebrate the 29.5th AWKR. Kristen (AWKR Chair) and special guest will be hosting the event. Details of the meeting will be made available on both the AWKR web site and the AWKR Facebook page closer to the event. The ...event will also be live-streamed on Facebook for those who just want to watch. We cant race physically so Sail Online (SOL) is kindly hosting what would normally be our longer race during the AWKR. Race starts at 5pm AEST and you wont need to be a computer gamer for this one and it wont cost you a cent because SOL is free. We will be sailing a brand new First27 which would be a very nice boat for the AWKR in real life. SOL uses real winds that change throughout the race as the winds change on the bay. If you get it right you could get around the course with just a couple of tacks and one or two gybes. We need more female navigators so set up your free account at Sail Online.
