This is often our choice for an evening meal after my wife has finished night shifts for the week and we all know it often tastes even better as leftovers the next day too! If we want choices then we have to support the local restaurants so please try to use them regularly subject to your family budget. They were there for the community during the fires offering free takeaway meals for those in need. So if you have had a lovely meal here please think about leaving a positive review on their Facebook page or in the comments below. Royal Recipes is also available on MenuLog which is great but that costs small restaurants a lot so check out the Menu on their Facebook page and give them a ring on 02 4567 8929 to order to help keep the profits with local business. 07.01.2022 What a wild week weve had up this way.. For those concerned, we are safe and out of harms way for the time being. Unfortunately others further up the hill have... not been so lucky.. Operations at Lochiel have shifted from cooking al a carte meals in the restaurant to assisting in catering for the amazing RFS at the local fire shed. The people on the front line of these fires are often modest dont like to be referred to as heros. If you see a firey, give them a hug, make sure theyre ok, they see the absolute worst of the destruction and often put on a brave face while holding onto the pain of others. In times like these, everyone is affected and its important to support each other. Local businesses are struggling to open their doors and even if they are able to, theres no passing trade to fill venues. The fire will continue to burn until we have REAL rain or it runs out of fuel.. If you can support your local businesses, please do.
