Rising temperatures and human activities have altered our ecosystems, reducing biodiversity and creating new niches where pests can thrive. Pests & diseases are one of the main drivers of biodiversity loss. International and interstate travel & trade can quickly spread pests & disease, potentially causing damage to native plants & the environment. Find out how the team at the Gardens are helping to keep out uninvited guests. #iyph2020 #hiddendangers #PlantSentinelsProject #protectingplantsprotectinglife #thinkbiosecurity
