25.01.2022 Okay, just to remind everyone. George Morris Clinics, first one here at Mount White, Fri to Sun 9th to 11th Jan. Groups are 1.40 at 8 til 10 a.m., 1.30 10 til noon, 1.20 3 til 5 p.m. Spectator fees are $35 per day, whether you are there for 1 session or all 3. Plenty of shade, but bring a chair. Drinks will be available for sale. Second Clinic at Diamond B Stud, Tues-Wed 13th and 14th Jan. This is a combined Coaches/Riders Clinic with 4 groups ranging from Beginners to Olympic. Coach/spectator fees are $80 per day, difference being there will be an opportunity to question George after each of the 4 sessions. At Mount White you only speak if you are spoken to!!

23.01.2022 Hi all. Thanks for all the kind messages re my recent hip replacement operation! It's been quite a different experience, mostly good (thanks Mater Hospital and Drs O'Sullivan and Egan), not so good in that the supposed 'top hospital cover' I had with NIB Health Fund, of which I have been a loyal customer for 27 years(!) did not cover the procedure. Big ouch!! However, back in action doing lessons and hope to be back riding in about 8 to 10 weeks. Cheers, Vicki

23.01.2022 All looking good for the George Morris Clinics coming up. First one is at Mt White this Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10th to 12th May, and second one at Yandoo Tuesday to Thursday. Times will be 9 til 11, 11 til 1, and 2.30 til 4.30. $40 per day spectator fee.

23.01.2022 NSW Ch'ships very well run event. Only thing that really sucked was the weather (probably kept a lot of spectators away cos it was great jumping!).

23.01.2022 It has been an interesting few months since our last show mid March (Hunter Valley Ch'ships, really nice show!) Once in lockdown, Dino and Lucy had their shoes pulled off and have had a nice 8 week break. Been fun working with young ones, and being able to take more time to get through to them. They all feel great(!) although the first show may well tell a different story..Also at this time very happy to support the cause of saving the brumbies. I only found out recently (from my sister Joanne Greene) that our first super jumping pony, Gazelle, who competed with us at many Sydney Royals and other stuff, was in fact a brumby. She was a superstar, because I knew nothing!!

22.01.2022 All here are horrified with the travesty of justice that is happening with our very dear friend George Morris. To impose a 'lifetime ban' for events that occurred 50 years ago is unbelievable. I am not here to say he is innocent or guilty, but the process is beyond belief. And to a man that has shaped the sport and touched so many peoples' lives, including my own, in such a positive way is heart breaking. I have known George for close to 40 years, and have never doubted his integrity or total passion for the welfare of his students and horses. For sure he is not a coach that will tell you what you want to hear (and maybe that has now gotten him into some of this trouble) but he will always strive to make you do a better job!

22.01.2022 Well done Riders Series on a nice show, and even the weather Gods were kind.. well they were on Saturday. Dino (Dynamite Bay) was the super star again, clear and 2nd in 1.30, then clear and 5th in only his second 1.40 class. Have to be careful not to rush this lovely, not yet 8 year old... Congo clear and 5th in the 1.30, Tiffany 2nd in the 1.05, and star of the day, Kelly Bridgeland and Val, 3rd in 1.05 and 1st in 1.10! Claudia and Ed also great in 1.05 and 1.10. Jack Schouten and Ozzie a super round to be 3rd in 1.30.

21.01.2022 First GM Clinic done and dusted. Fabulous as always, he gets better and better. Still sharp and doesn't suffer fools, but I'm sure he's mellowed! Or are we j...ust more tuned into him? Great to see riders like Mandy Madigan, Dave C and Tom McD getting so much out of it. Ground has held up well, and all set to go for Clinic 2, commencing at 8 a.m. Tuesday 3/1. 20.01.2022 Now just want to say how appalled we all were at the ABC report on racehorses. While there is a reality of some horses that need to be euthanased, we must immediately improve the current practices. The racing industry also needs to be more proactive on what happens to these wonderful animals post racing, especially the ones who have served their owners so well. It pains me so much as my best horses of a lifetime have been thoroughbreds..

19.01.2022 Gosh how fantastic was Michelle Payne's Melbourne Cup win.. beautifully ridden in a sport with way more chauvanistic people than in our sports! Also she stated about "following her dreams...", but I rarely see the hard slog and work ethic that this girl has displayed. Michelle, you rock!

13.01.2022 Well, 3 George Morris Clinics done and dusted. What a fabulous trainer and clinician this man still is at 80 years of age, a true legend and icon. I feel very humbled by those wonderful riders who continue to come and learn from him, even though they are at the top of their game, and I refer to Chris Chugg, Tom McDermott, Amanda Madigan, who are the main 'repeat offenders'. Also excellent to see 'first timers' in the big group, Izzy Stone, Aaron Hadlow and Clay Simmonds get so much out of it. To all the riders who benefitted so much from this man's wisdom, I thankyou for your support, cos I'm not sure how many more times we are gonna be able to drag him this far from Florida. Stay forward and light!

08.01.2022 George Morris returns to Australia to do 3 three day Clinics, 2 at Mount White, and one in Victoria at the fabulous facility of Boneo Park. This man is one of the icons of the sport, both as a rider and a coach, so if you get a chance to come and ride or sprctate, don't miss it! Clinic dates are 30th,31st Dec (2016) and 1st Jan (2017), and 3rd to 5th Jan, both at Mt White, then 7th to 9th Jan at Boneo Park. Spectator fees are $40 per day. Spread the word!!

04.01.2022 So very proud of our jumping team in Tryon. Best placing ever by an Aussie team, plus a coveted place in the next Olympics! (take that Poms, Irish, France etc. etc!). Shows what can happen when 4 guys who have come up through the ranks the hard way can achieve, and all finished in the top 35. Super job Rowan, Billy, Kermo and Scotty. And excellent job al the support crew, especially newbie Chef Todd Hinde (how are you gonna top that??) who led his team so well. And special congrats to Alice Cameron, who bred 2 of the horses right here in Oz!
