20.01.2022 Medicinal mushrooms are all the rage right now, and there are lots of options to choose from. But not all medicinal mushroom products are the same quality! Alwa...ys check which parts of the mushroom or mushrooms are present. Look for a product that contains only the fruiting body of the mushroom (which is the part traditionally used in Chinese medicine) and not other parts of the mushroom or the medium its grown in. Importantly, if you're looking at mushrooms for immune support, ensure you choose a formula with a high ratio of the polysaccharides called beta-glucans and relatively low levels of alpha-glucans.
