10.01.2022 it’s science, if you’re seeing blue and black, this means your retina’s cones are more high functioning thus resulting in your eyes doing subtractive mixing, subtractive mixing is the mixing you get if you illuminate colored filters with white light from behind. if you overlap all subtractive primary colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow) you get red, black, yellow, and green, which makes the blue and black dress. if you’re seeing white and gold, this means your eyes do not work well in dim light so your rods in your retinas see white, making them less light-sensitive, causing additive mixing (green and red) to make gold. no one is right or wrong, it is purely science.

07.01.2022 Here is a bit more info about our up and coming Teens event. Some info about Alice Avenue... Nick, the guitarist, bassist and vocalist of the band listens to al...most anything and is currently listening to pretty much everything from sixties folk to desert rock. As a musician he has been writing and performing for a long time, and growing up has been influenced by artists like Jorma Kaukonen, Bob Seger, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Cash and Richard Thompson. He started this band because he loves to play live for people and enjoys playing music with friends. Nick is looking forward to playing a variety of gigs this year and writing new songs. Nick is studying a bachelor of contemporary music at UWS and is currently in his third year. Ally, the vocalist/guitarist of the band, enjoys everything from Ball Park Music to Vance Joy to early 2000s Britney Spears. Growing up she was influenced by songwriters including Kate Miller-Heidke, Megan Washington, Joshua Radin and Brooke Fraser, and has been writing original music for several years. She has enjoyed playing and performing for a long time and is looking forward to upcoming gigs including playing Beyond Festival in Canberra later this year, a lineup also featuring the likes of Katie Noonan, Lior and Stu Larsen. James is a multi-instrumentalist who is playing guitar and bass and is singing in Alice Avenue. He is currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. James has been performing live for several years now, and has performed at the Sydney Town Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the Entertainment Centre, and has performed with Human Nature, Jake Nauta (of Playjerise) and Anja Nissen (The Voice winner 2014). James is influenced by Josh Pyke, Jason Mraz, Jinja Safari and Tigertown.
