12.01.2022 We love eating soup year round in our house. It’s a great way to use up your limp veg, so it doesn’t end up in landfill. Tonight I’m using leek, carrot, celery, and sweet potato. Then will add leftover steamed broccoli from last nights dinner, and serve it on top of basmati rice.

11.01.2022 Afternoon snack - smashed avo and nigella seeds (also known as black cumin) on buckwheat crackers. Usually I would have ground seeds, as we absorb them better that way, but I was too hungry. The seed of Nigella sativa has been used in different civilizations around the world for centuries to treat various ailments. 08.01.2022 Having hashimotos and feeling tired and exhausted goes hand in hand unfortunately. But being fatigued is a great reason to exercise, as exercise will boost your energy. The biggest obstacle is just getting started, but I promise you once you do, you will feel 100% better.

03.01.2022 We see detox programs everywhere!! Detoxification is important, especially these days with so much exposure to environmental toxins, poor diet, stress and infections. Our body detoxifies daily, but sometimes we need extra support for our pathways to detox. But there is a right and wrong way to do this. And buying the latest potion at the store is not the right way. Foods such as lemon, beetroot, broccoli, ginger and drinks like green tea and ACV can help. But as always speak to your doctor and nutritionist first.

02.01.2022 Both are obviously very important, we can eat way too much some days, but what you put in your body is more important. You want to eat nutrient dense foods, such as, grass-fed free range meat, sustainable seafood, organic fruit and veg (or at least the Clean 15 / Dirty Dozen), nuts and seeds, free range organic eggs, beans and legumes.
