17.01.2022 Efficient limb dissociation under load is an important step in triathlon performance. This can be achieved by creating a strong core which links the communication between the upper and lower body. This is a loaded gliding disc exercise. First try lifting your knees and holding a static position for 30 seconds to a minute before moving your limbs. #trilife #runlife #runbetter #trainsmarter #swimbikerun #swimbikerunworld #isotraining #trainsmarter

07.01.2022 Do you run up hills? Running up hills requires good moving and strong ankle, knee, and hip joints because when the body is leaning into the hill these joints are put in a more acute angle than they would normally be in on flat ground, which can make them more vulnerable to injury. This is an ankle and foot stretching exercise that focuses on getting the bones in the foot and ankle to glide better. Combine this with a few strength exercises such as single leg calf raises and you will be helping to protect your feet and ankles against running related injuries #runthehills #hillrunning #protectyourjoints #runfaster #runlonger #runbetter #functionalfeet #functionaltraining #bettermovingbody #learntotrain #learntomove

05.01.2022 What is a functional line and how can training it improve performance? How many of you train body parts? This is a very common way of training but it is only training our muscles individually. Training your functional line is training the fascia which is the fibrous tissue that runs throughout the body and connects the muscles along that line. This is an anterior functional line, which is all the muscles down the front of the body. The key to this exercise which makes it diff...erent to a normal plank is your shoulders shift behind your elbows and your chin tucks in to lengthrn the neck and activate the deep muscles of the neck. Start by holding the position before moving. Mastering this for 3 minutes plus will translate into a more efficient and powerful swim, bike and run. #swimbikerun #runfaster #runforlife #bikelife #triathlontraining #movebetter #trainsmarter #swimmers #onlinefitness See more
