15.01.2022 When looking for a good massage therapist, especially for Remedial (therapeutic) purposes, please ask if the therapist is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. The industry is currently rife with schools offering certificates and "Diplomas" in "Whole Body Massage" or similar that can be obtained in under a weekend! Would you rather place your back, neck and aching muscles in the hands of a qualified RMT who has completed hundreds of hours of study and hands-on training or someone who was ripped off $300-$700 and obtained a certificate on the weekend and most likely doesn't know your ITB from your gluteus maximus? Don't be misled or fooled out of your hard earned and don't let a sub-par massage experience scare you away from trying again with a different, qualified therapist.
