16.01.2022 Jarrah Miss second up over 1300m in a Maiden at Ararat. She did the team proud running second beaten a length in her third start for me. I couldn't be happier with her progress still a little green but improving every run. Thanks to Teo Nugent for a great ride and her owner's for giving me the opportunity to train Jarrah Miss.

15.01.2022 Avoid the Rush second up in a BM 58 1525m race today. She was her wild self giving Georgia greif as usual. A great run finishing 5th, letting us know she just isn't quiet ready to leave racing yet.

13.01.2022 Avoid the Rush and Smart Promise enjoying a glorious winters morning. Young Spence in the saddle helping mum today.

12.01.2022 Jarrah Miss had her first up run in a 1200m maiden at her home track Geelong. Its been 5 months since she last raced with a few issues to iron out. Running 7th beaten 7 lengths and I am one happy trainer sounds crazy! But she came through the run clean winded. I can't thank her owner's enough for their patience, Barwon Equine hospital and Advantage Equine Clinic for investigating and helping get Jess back on track, her future is looking good.

10.01.2022 Beach Sessions for Smart Promise and Jarrah Miss after a busy couple of days last week. Trials and races for the girls.

08.01.2022 Sunday session for the team.

05.01.2022 First start for the stable today, Smart Promise did not let the team down after being fractious in the gates she settled well under the guidance of Jarrod Fry and stormed home to run 4th at Terrang in a 1000m maiden proving she was worth sending down to Victoria.

04.01.2022 Our day at Echuca didn't go quiet as planned with Smart Promise but these two looked a picture in the mounting yard.

03.01.2022 Three year old gelding by Nova Sofala out of Rubirest working a treat today. Not sure what his future holds racing or dressage.

03.01.2022 It has taken me a while to write this post, but last week we had to make the hard decision to retire the matriac of the stable. Avoid the Rush was the reason I got up at 3am most mornings she tested my patience, tought me patience and things about racing and the equine athlete I never thought I'd know. I can't thank her owners enough for being a part of the journey with me and I will be forever greatfull for your support over the years. My first winner, my pride and joy the... Apple of my eye. Avoid the Rush your going to be hard to replace, maybe one of your babies will in years to come. Thank you to the track riders who tolerated her royal highness over the years she was never easy. To the freinds who were there at the races helping to survive another day at the races with the firsty girl I couldn't have done it with out you all. A big thanks to the jockeys she was never easy to ride. Avoid the Rush enjoy your retirement and thank you for the memories. See more

02.01.2022 The 23rd of April the team headed to kilmore with Jarrah Miss and the matriarch of the stable 9yr old Avoid the Rush. 1100m maiden first up for Jarrah Miss improving on her first run finishing 6 lengths behind the winner pulling up well but a few things that need ironing out going forward. Avoid the Rush trying something new with a rear out of the gates missing the start in a fillies and mares in a BM 58 1200m race and finnishing off strong looking for 1400m next start. Proud of the girls and can't thank my owners, freinds and family for their continued support.

02.01.2022 Jarrah Miss stepped out today at Avoca in race 5 in a 1300m maiden. Jake Duffy rode her well with a tight track not suiting the big girl she still did us proud running 3rd. She has come such a long, way thanks again to the owners for trusting the stable with their girl.

02.01.2022 Smart Promise enjoying a bit of salt water therapy today.
