On 30 September 2019, Consumer Protection released a new campaign aimed at increasing the number of licensed motor vehicle repairers and decreasing the number of backyard, dodgy repairers. Consumers are being urged to Look for the tick when they are engaging the services of a motor vehicle repairer to help protect their asset as well as their family.... Many licensed repair businesses will already have one of these tick stickers displayed on their premises. These stickers are provided free of charge and are available to all licensed motor vehicle repair businesses. If you are a licensed motor vehicle repair business and you do not have a yellow tick sticker you can contact [email protected] to request one. Consumer Protection can also provide you with digital images for use on websites, invoices and advertising. For digital images click on the tick, or email your request to [email protected]. How can you help protect the integrity of the motor vehicle repair industry? Check that your business licence is up to date and you have the correct certification for the class of repair work you are undertaking. Motor vehicle repair businesses must ensure that no more than three uncertified repairers are working under each certified supervisor. We have done all sorts of work from Engine and Turbo rebuilds,Suspension replacements, Steering column repairs to fixing Trailers, Horse Floats, Pressure Washer, Sweepers and Compactors, We can do it all including Truck and Bobcats.
