23.01.2022 This group of dancers enjoyed the morning workshop of our Autumn Day of Dance. Worked on steps, phrasing, tight turns and put them into some very interesting dances, which all had their different challenges. Many thanks to teacher Barbara Lupton and the Committee for bringing it together.

18.01.2022 Saturday night we acknowledged some of our Branch's longest serving members. Whilst not all could attend the Adelaide Ball, we were able to thank these members for their continuous support of more than 25 years, up to an incredible 44 years. Their commitment to dancing, the Society and the Adelaide and Districts Branch in particular is remarkable and much appreciated. Here's to them and many more happy years of dancing and membership. 16.01.2022 Sadly catastrophic fire conditions and heatwave scuppered some year-end class gatherings in Adelaide this week. Fortunately Monday Burnside had a lovely evening of favourite dances followed by supper. Good cheer to all who joined in, especially visitors.
16.01.2022 There are lots of reasons to join the Adelaide and Districts Branch. www.rscdsadelaide.org.au//your-membership-benefits-and-inv But don't just take it from us, as one long-term member recently said, "When I started, everyone joined, it didnt occur to us not to. I like to go to Branch class and it is cheaper to be a member." 2020 Membership applications open until 31 March.

14.01.2022 Thanks to the many people who made Adelaide's Musica Scotland weekend possible. Firstly, to the dancers and spectators who attended the Ball and Concert and the musicians who learned at the Workshop. The events could not go ahead without your support. The Committee members and others who hosted musicians, promoted the events, who MCd, set up, catered, and cleaned up, their partners who also helped with door sales, clean up, and photography, and the Teachers who recapped the Ball dances. A great team effort by all involved and very much appreciated. Check out photos from the events at www.rscdsadelaide.org.au/recent-happenings
