Since this is also a social night, we shall provide pizza and soft-drink. 10.01.2022 The 2016 QUT Winter School on Robotics and Automation (RAS) will be held 30 June -1 July 2016 in Brisbane, Australia, at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). QUT invites high-calibre 3rd, 4th year undergraduate students and Masters students in Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas to apply for an invitation to the event. Successful applicants will be introduced to cutting-edge research in robotics and autonomous systems, as well as opportunities to contri...bute to the future of robotics and autonomous systems. The event will feature talks by world-leading researchers, hands-on activities and demonstrations of state-of-the-art robotic and autonomous systems. QUT is home to several major robotic and automation research centres and programs including; the $25M Australian Centre for Robotic Vision (ACRV), the Australian Centre for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA) and the Strategic Investment in Farm Robotics (SIFR). Come along for nibbles and drinks and join us for beer at the UniBar after. In this AGM, we hope to find a new committee to continue the ongoing progress of our club The following positions are available:... President Vice President Treasurer Secretary x6 General Committee If you are interested in any of the aforementioned roles and are confident you can do it, please prepare a short speech describing why you should be nominated e.g. past experiences in a committee of a club, if you have demonstrated apt leadership skills etc. The agenda is as follows: President's Report Vice President's Report Treasurer's Report Discussion of what each role in the new committee will comprises of.
