19.01.2022 This quote embodies a mantra the partners at RSG Lawyers and Associates have belief in. That is, hope and resilience. It has been a tough year. In Australia, we... saw drought and bushfire. But, then we had rain. And the "second best grain season on record". Although we may not forget 2020 for the year it was, Coronavirus will become an event of the past. And through the hardship we will indeed see ease. The team at RSG Lawyers and Associates wishes you a safe and enjoyable festive season with your friends and families. Don't lose hope and always stay resilient. We look forward to seeing you in 2021.

12.01.2022 No further stay condition - COVID 19 You may have a no further stay condition imposed on your Australian visa. In the context of the the pandemic, you may be a...ble to meet the criteria to seek a waiver of the no further condition to allow you to submit an application onshore. Regulation 2.05(4) prescribes the circumstance in which a "no further application" condition may be waived: a)circumstances have developed since the visa was granted that resulted in a major change in the visa holders circumstances. In addition, the change in circumstances must have been beyond their control and be compelling and compassionate in nature (reg. 2.05(4)(a)) and b)if the visa holder asks that the condition be waived, their request must be in writing (Note: There is no requirement that persons with a no further application condition imposed on their visa request a waiver; it is open for a delegate to find that circumstances for waiver exist and to waive the condition) and c)if a delegate previously refused a waiver request by the visa holder under regulation 2.05(4), the circumstances presented in the current request must be substantially different from those considered previously.

09.01.2022 When we began, it was never about being the best for ourselves. It was about being the best we could be for our clients. Not some clients. But every client t...hat engaged us. And till this day, that is what we have continued to do. As we have grown by the support of clients, who put their utmost trust in our expertise, it is now our responsibility more than ever to be there for our clients during these unprecedented times. You may be aware that temporary visa holders are not eligible for job keeper or such Government support although they continue to contribute greatly to the Australian economy. Therefore, we are proud to announce that RSG Lawyers & Associates has launched the COVID19 Temporary Visa Support Fund for its existing clients. RSG Lawyers and Associates will make a direct financial contribution to its clients who are temporary visa holders and are facing financial hardship. This contribution will be extended further for those who may be in extreme financial hardship.
