22.01.2022 New Taxi surcharge got increased on Saturday & Sunday From 27th September 2013, Friday, a $2.50 surcharge will be increased in night taxi fare for Friday to Saturday in attempt to get more cabs in night. The taxi fares will remain the same but only there is an increase in surcharge. These charges will start on Friday to Saturday between 10 pm to 6 am. The NSW taxi council representing a large part of the industry and stated that increase of $2.50 surcharge is a genuine attempt to improve the availability of taxis during peak periods. http://bit.ly/19yQfLY
