12.01.2022 Happy Tales Friday Diego was adopted from our Hunter Shelter. When his mum met him she immediately fell in love but because he is a dingo other people had b...een nervous to adopt him and his litter. Diego now rules the roost, and lives a life of love and luxury. While some people are still a bit nervous about Diego they are slowly learning that he is a sweet and loving doggo If you have a Happy Tales story we'd love to hear it, send us your updates, stories and pictures! If you would like a Happy Tale of your own visit the Adopt section on our website www.rspcansw.org.au/adopt/

07.01.2022 BREAK-IN AT RSPCA ACT PLEASE SHARE A message from our CEO Michelle Robertson: Dear Friends... It is with a pleading heart that I ask for your help. Our Shelter was broken into during the early hours of this morning (Saturday, 17 April). Someone violently smashed, shattered and forced their way into one of Tangos Cat Boarding Facility suites. When our team arrived, much to our distress, we found two beautiful cats missing. I am calling on our supporters and friends to please share this post and the photos of Beau and Luna, with the hope that they would be found and that we can reunite them with their family. All other animals at our RSPCA ACT shelter are safe and accounted for. Beau and Luna were both previously adopted from the RSPCA ACT and their owners book them into Tangos when they go away on holiday, knowing that we would shower them with love and care. Needless to say, the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Our hearts are breaking with them. The Police have attended and will look into the matter. From our team here at RSPCA ACT, our priority right now is to try to locate Beau and Luna and get them back to their family. If the person/s responsible are reading this post, please have some compassion and return Beau and Luna. If anyone has any information about this break in, please contact the police, crime stoppers on 1300 333 000 or send us an email at [email protected]. And to local Vets and Rescue Groups, please keep an eye out for Beau and Luna. They are microchipped with up to date details, they are also desexed. We expect that they may need some extra TLC after experiencing this trauma. Thank you in advance. Michelle Robertson, CEO, RSPCA ACT.
