We invite all dogs and their owners to come and have a Christmas photo taken with the whole family! 21.01.2022 HEATWAVE WARNING Start freezing those enrichment packs! Temperatures are set to soar across Queensland this weekend. Remember your pets! OUR TOP TIPS: All... pets should have an ample supply of shelter and water and do not tether your dog in the backyard. Never exercise your pet during the heat of the day. Sunrise and sunset are the best times to take your dog for a walk in summer and steer clear of hot bitumen. Never leave your pet unattended in a car or on a ute! Watch for signs of heatstroke in your pet! Flat faced dogs (Brachycephalic breeds) are more susceptible. Don’t forget our wildlife! Leave extra containers of water out for birds and smaller animals. 02.01.2022 CUDDLE CATS AT RSPCA KINGAROY JUST $29 From now until next Monday (28th June) adult cats (over 16-weeks) are just $29 to adopt from KINGAROY RSPCA. It's the purrfect time to help our felines cuddle up in a loving home this winter! We have so many cats in care across RSPCA shelters in Queensland and we have reduced their adoption fees to make way for many others that will fill their places. While the adoption fee at $29 is considerably less than normal, we all know th...at a pet is for life so we'll continue to follow our usual adoption processes to ensure we’re doing our best to match our pets with potential adopters.
