07.01.2022 The RSPCA Rockingham Auxiliary have been moved with the generosity and kindness of Jared Newell and his family. Jared and his family have willingly donated a dog bed and cushion to be used by one of rescue dogs’ at the Malaga Shelter. At only 14 years of age, Jared has taken the initiative to create the dog bed purely out of recycled pine. Jared claims as the pine is untreated, it contains no nasty chemicals. Thus, the material used is in no way harmful to animals, even if... they decide to chew on it! Just when you thought Jared couldn’t get any more impressive Jared has established his own Facebook page, Creative Pallets, where he sells his dog beds to the general public. These outdoor beds make a great place for your dog to lounge on during the summer or to snuggle up in during the winter. Jared’s beds come in a variety of sizes ranging from small (700 x 500mm) $45.00, medium (1000 x 700mm) $65.00 and Large (1200 x 900mm) $85.00. To contact Jared or to check out more of his work, please head to: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Creative-Pallets/666736113375664 Again, thank you Jared and the Newell Family for your generous donation and support! :)

03.01.2022 We love to see how our adopted animals are getting on in their furever homes and it was great to catch up with John who brought Molly in to see us for their 3rd... anniversary. John and Molly pop by our Malaga Shelter each year on Molly’s birthday and the anniversary of her adoption. She arrived at RSPCA underweight and lacking confidence but is now a happy and healthy dog, full of life. It’s wonderful to see how much John has helped build her confidence! #HappyTail
