13.01.2022 Some more pictures from last years combined touring support class at the bathurst 12hr. #penrite oil ,

12.01.2022 After a really trying couple of days at Willowbank Drag Strip and a lot of hard work by all the crew we finally managed to tame a tricky track and record a new pb as well as a win in the finals. After being top qualifier at Sydney Jamboree 2019 and not making the finals it was awesome to be able to reach the final and even more satisfying to be able to turn the win light on. The new engine from Dandy Engines was awesome but we needed to drastically alter our launch progr...am as the engine makes so much more power during the launch sequence. We were fortunate to have one of our new dual 50 hz etesta gps units on board so we could analyses in great detail the first 60 ft to work out where our issues were, these units are that fast that they can follow our driveshaft rpm data so we can see where the issue starts. As always our transmission and converter from Al's Race Glides was awesome and the special dual converter bleeds fitted gave us the capacity to tame the power transfer on the hit as well as taming our bump during staging. The car runs a fully integrated Motec system with M150, C127, PDM 15, E888, Keypad and Ltcn with a complex can network so all components communicate with each other. This system gives us the ability to log everything that's going on in the vehicle. The system controls auto shift, timed waste gate boost control, bump and dual converter bleed strategies, nos and line locked brake pressure during staging. Between the C125 dash and the M150 ecu we log over 700 channels. The addition of the dual 50 hz Etesta gps unit gives us a high update rate accurate ground speed reference to allow analyses of our launch. A small issue with a boost pipe connector limited our maximum boost during the weekend to 65 psi and despite the best efforts of the crew we only managed to get to 68 psi for the final. Apart from that issue and a crank sensor failing at the line for qualifier one the car ran faultlessly which is a credit to the whole crew Consistency is the key to any program and our last 3 passes were super consistent with a 6.378 , a 6.328 then a pb with a 6.294 in the final. Big thanks to all the crew, Al from Als race glides for the transmission, Danny from Custom Body works for keeping the car looking sharp, Frank from Dandy Engines for the engine and the advice when needed, Penrite Oils for the lubricants to keep the car running, Esa from Etetsta for the GPS system and of course to Nathan for putting the whole program together . Now to fix the boost leak and really try to push this car into the 6.0's and maybe even the 5's # 99 Racing # Al's Race Glides # Custom Body Works # Dandy Engines # Penrite Oils # Etesta # Motec M1 # Winner 2019 Jamboree Qld Formula Extreme See more

10.01.2022 Its been a while since our last update so over the next week we plan on updating what we have been up to for this year. In february we were pleased to be a part of the Marc Cars team for the Bathurst 12hr. Our role was to provide race engineering for the team of Jake Camilleri, Jack Smith and Rob Thompson. We were running ist in class until and small electrical gremlin cost us 6 laps in the pits and we dropped from a 1 lap lead to a 5 lap deficit . The drivers dug deep and managed to pull back 2 of those laps to secure 3rd in class and 21st overall. Image credit to Dirk Klynsmith photograhy and driven productions

10.01.2022 Missing - Custom MARC II V8 steering wheel. Sometime on Saturday evening or Sunday morning at the Bathurst 12hr our brand new custom steering wheel from Italy h...as been "misplaced" while our 92 car was in the parc ferme compound. The wheel was still attached to our 92 Scandia car when we left it on Saturday eve, Sunday when we loaded the car it was gone . The wheel is custom made in Italy, it is completely bespoke, it will not operate on any other car . The serial number is 001..we hold the spare 002 unit in our stock. It bears the unique Racer Industries logo under the clear coat on the front cover. I'm hopeful that someone has taken the wheel assuming the whole car is going to be thrown in the bin..similar to pilfering from a kerb-side collection. Somewhere, someone has this wheel, it's likely they have shown it to someone else. I'm appealing to someone's good nature to come forward. The wheel can be returned to any CAMS (motorsport Australia) office, Racer Industries , or any reputable Motorsports parts supplier or MoTeC agent . The wheel is of significant financial value, but also is required as we repair the car to export to our next event in Monza. Somewhere...someone has this wheel please forward and share this post to help us secure it's return. Regards Ryan McLeod

07.01.2022 We were very fortunate to have been asked to display the cars at this years Special Childrens Christmas Party with our friends Pacific Hoists. 04.01.2022 This is a project that we have been involved with since the start of the year providing wiring, data and programming solutions as well as tuning and race day support. A big thanks have to go out to Frank Marchese from dandy engines for an awesome engine as well as the crew Darren Baker , Forno, Anthony Maguzzu, Kristian Austin and Eli Hagenson for all their hard work behind the scenes to turn the car around between sessions. Mark McCoy and Motec for and awesome drag packag...e and support for the M150. This car is fitted with a c125, motec keypad, pdm 15, m150 and motec ltc that all communicate on can to control transbrake bump, nos and all performance systems that let the team achieve this level of performance. Finally a big thanks goes out to Nathan Hagenson for letting us be involved in this program and giving us patience and time to achieve the results that we have. 6.35 @225 mph and a pb with this vehicle and driver. #motec See more
