23.01.2022 Hello Dear Patrons and Members It is with deep regret the Board of Rockingham Theatre Company has decided it will not be putting on a show this year. We had hoped we would be able to stage the show Pure Nectar but unfortunately with the continuing restrictions, as advised by the Australian Department of Health and World Health Organisation, it was decided the production would be cancelled. The Theatre continues behind the scenes, moving and sorting costumes into our new cos...tume shed, and general maintenance. We would love The Castle to come back in 2021 ready for new and exciting productions. The lineup for 2021 will be ‘Calendar Girls’, followed by Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’. In the second half of the year, we aim to produce ‘Love Begins at Fifty’, and ‘The Sunshine Boys’. Please keep an eye on our website for dates. Kind regards, Sue Walker - Secretary RTC See more

16.01.2022 Announcement: At the next RTC Board Meeting, part of our focus will be the finalisation of our 2020 season. We are hoping to have confirmation on proposed show dates for "PURE NECTAR" very soon! Once we have these details, we will be calling for submissions for 2021 season plays. To be fair, first option will be given to those directors that have had cancelled shows this year. Stay tuned for more information.

08.01.2022 The END of an era! This was the last time we’ll be visiting the costume shed - our final connection with our original stage and home - McLarty Hall. The costumes will now live in a purpose built shed at the RTC itself. Who remembers any shows at the hall?

03.01.2022 Last Sunday and we will do it again in the following fortnight our members of the theatre decluttered our wardrobe division. For years our costumes have been held in the shed at McLarty Hall, our birthday place. Now we have our own shed at the RTC its time for a declutter and new set up. ... The photo of the foyer and all the costumes is only HALF of it.... It was a fun morning full of memories and laughter and for some dress ups. Stay Tuned for more of our declutter and rebuild.
