20.01.2022 Today on First Responder Day Port Stephens SES have been absolutely blessed by the Lions Club of Raymond Terrace and their support group, the Lions Ladies. In r...ecognition of the work that the unit does across storm, tempest, road crash rescue, industrial rescue and ambulance assist responses - they have donated 4 Pulse Oximetry units for use with our oxygen Resuscitation kits. These units are carried on all of our 3 Rescue trucks (light, medium and heavy rescues) as well as our 4WD storm truck. In addition, the Lions donated equipment for each of our 20 accredited rescue operators for glass breaking and rapid access. Thanks to the wonderful Lions club for their ongoing support! It is greatly appreciated

12.01.2022 In the interest of the publics and our members health it has been decided to suspend all our Lions clubs activities forthwith until the end of April. Resumption of activities beyond the end of April will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Of course during this period we can still be contacted via phone, email etc.

12.01.2022 The Leukaemia Foundation were the Raymond Terrace Lions beneficiary from the $600 Bunnings Day BBQ on 14th March 2020.

11.01.2022 Driver Reviver Crew 2pm - 6pm change-over to 6pm - MIdnight Crew. It was surprisingly busy for 6pm - Midnight shift. The Midnight to 6am were facing a cold night, ( below.) Thank you to community minded helpers who helped fill our roster.

08.01.2022 Thanks to the local community for supporting our efforts to raise funds to be returned to our community. We've raised over $2,000 in the past 2 weeks through Driver Reviver at 12 Mile rest stop and our local Heatherbrae Bunnings sausage sizzle. After 6 months of no fund-raising, this was fantastic. #raymondterrace #lionsinternational #volunteering

HAPPY WORLD DOCTORS DAY-BIG SALUTE TO ALL DOCTORS IN THE WORLD. 1st Day, 1st Project, Lions Club of Progeny Thiruninravur celebrated National Doctors Day at Anthony Nagar, Thiguninravur. President & members of club honoured 3 Doctors for their services in our society and felicitated Dr. K.Rangarajan, Dr.K.R.Kalyani & Dr.K.R.Kannan, planted trees and also Distributed Kabasura Kudineer Podi sponsored by Lion Dr.K.R.Kannan. The new PST team - Lion Dr.K.R.Kannan President, Lion Nijaroopa Mahen Secretary and Lion S.Kathiravan Secretary were introduced to the Club members and felicitated them. MJF Lion Dr.K.R.Kalyani - Region Chairperson Region IX, wished new PST good luck and explained about the lionism and use of MyLion app to all the lion members. MJF Lion Dr.K.R.Kalyani honoured the President, Secretary and Treasurer pin as a token of gesture. Immediate Past Presiden Lion N.K. Satheesh Kumar congratulated the new PST. Lion S.Kathiravan had introduced new lion member Mr. Anand to the club. 04.01.2022 How Lions are supporting the fight against Childhood Cancer through the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF) Dr Sarah Khan is already a well recognised young woman who will become a world class Paediatric Oncologist. Without the ALCCRF support of $450,000 Sarah would not have been able to achieve where she is at today, heading for her PhD in June 2021....
